I didn’t know what to think of humans when I first got here, but my foster family has shown me that people are pretty great! Now I’m ready to find my own family. I’m a great adventure buddy. I love car rides and walks, and I’m off-leash trained with my foster mom. It’ll take a minute to get to that point with a new family, but once I do, let’s go all the places and do all the things together! I’ll stay right with you like a good, loyal boy. Also, guess what. I can swim! I’m a certified water dog. Let’s go into the mountains, let’s hike and paddleboard and swim and run – I’m ready! Okay, actually, I’m still kind of shy. I still need some safe exposure and socialization with new things. It will probably take me a while to trust you the way I trust my foster family. But I want you to know, I’m ready for that! Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

She is a 3 year old Border Collie. She is timid at first with everybody (more with men) but warms up quickly. However, she is not scared of kids at all and loves them with all her heart. Her favorite game is fetch with literally anything that can be thrown, she can't get enough of it. She is extremely well behaved and trained, and listens in every situation. I would love it if someone who has an active lifestyle would adopt her, she is comfortable relaxing at home with you but where she finds true happiness is outside. If you have any questions just ask I'd love to share more about her.
