Story
Kona is the sweetest, cuddly love bug of a dog I have ever had. I rescued her from a broken home where she was left to roam the streets in the snow as a pup. I have had her for about two years and it breaks my heart to have to give her up. She is very energetic and needs a lot of space to run. She would do well in a yard with high fences. Unfortunately she is our 3rd dog and she has learned how to get out of her new yard. She does very well with other dogs and loves to pounce and play. She loves kids and always tries to lick my 2yr old nephew in the face. If you let her, she will crawl into your lap for cuddles. Kona does well in the house, but I would not leave her alone with your food. She is crate trained but needs leash training. We work long hours and do not have the time to commit to training her the way she needs, but with the right owner she will make a great family dog.

Story
Meet Salted Caramel! he is currently 7 weeks old, and we think he may be a Border Collie / Labrador Retriever mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Salted Caramel’s video here: This little fella is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. His mom is a beautiful collie mix, approximately 45 lbs, with the SWEETEST demeanor. She has a medium length coat and she has raised very healthy, beautiful babies. These little babies are well socialized with kids and other puppies while they await their forever homes! Salted Caramel comes from a litter of 8 and loves to play with all of his siblings and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Salted Caramel is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/677eaca671ae1900a10a49dc Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Meet Clyde! Clyde is a stunning, dark chocolate-colored boy, estimated to be about a year old, and suspected to be a mix of Border Collie, Husky, and possibly Kelpie. Weighing around 40 pounds, he is the perfect medium-sized companion. Clyde is calm, sweet, and incredibly gentle—qualities that everyone who meets him immediately notices. Clyde thrives in a home where patience and understanding abound. While he can be a little timid and unsure in new situations, he’s eager to build his confidence with adopters who are willing to guide him. He’s been excelling in his training at Bandit Stay and Play, where the staff absolutely adore him. He enjoys playing with other dogs in playgroups, though he’s still learning when it’s time to take a break. Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you—Clyde is always ready for an adventure! Whether it’s hiking, walking, or running, he’s your perfect partner. At the same time, he’s a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle at home. He would do well as an only dog or with fur siblings, and he’d enjoy regular playdates with other dogs. Clyde is a smart, attentive boy who thrives on mental stimulation. He loves puzzle feeders, bully sticks, and anything that keeps his mind busy. Without enrichment, he may find ways to entertain himself, so a home that values his need for mental engagement—or is willing to learn—would suit him best. Clyde is house-trained and has never had a potty accident in his foster home. He’s also been friendly with children and animals of all sizes. At his training facility, he’s observed cats without showing interest in chasing them. This sweet boy is eager to please, loves to learn, and is ready to take on the challenge of growing into the confident dog he’s meant to be. Until Clyde finds his forever home, he’ll be loved and cherished by his foster family, who are committed to ensuring he ends up in the best situation possible. Clyde is truly a gem waiting for his perfect match. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet, and adventurous companion who will love you endlessly, Clyde might just be your perfect fit.

Story
Hey there! I`m Willow, your next best friend and adventure buddy. Even though I`ve been with the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter since August 15th, 2024, I can`t wait to find a forever home where I can settle down and start a new life. I`m a young female dog with lots of curiosity, and I can`t wait to see what life has in store for me. I love meeting new people, and I`m especially good with staff and volunteers at the shelter. They say I`m smart, loyal, and curious, and I love to explore new places and sniff out new smells. Even though I`m not too sure about other dogs, I just need to find the right pal to get along with or be the only dog in the home. If you`re interested in meeting me, make sure to bring your dog along so we can see if we`re a good match. I can`t wait to meet you and start our new life together. Come visit me at the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter!

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Sakura, and I am a very friendly, playful, and affectionate adult dog. I warm up to people quickly, especially when they offer me tasty treats and lots of love. I can be very gentle when taking treats and will sit beautifully if you ask me to. I am an active girl who loves going on walks and exploring new places, so if you`re looking for a furry friend who loves the outdoors as much as you do, I`m the perfect companion for you! It`s always best to bring any other dog`s in the home to meet me before adopting. The staff here at the shelter think I am an amazing dog with lots of love to give and are very hopeful that I will find a forever home with you. I arrived here as a stray on August 20th, 2024, and I am so ready to find a family to call my own. If you think you could be that person or family for me, please come to the shelter and ask for me, Sakura! I can`t wait to meet you and start our life-long adventure together.
