Shy is 4 months she is very smart. She is very nervous with new environments and people but once she gets to know you she gets attached. She does have a bit of food aggression with other dogs and a little with people if she has a bone. Other then these things she is a sweet dog.

Story
Kona is the sweetest, cuddly love bug of a dog I have ever had. I rescued her from a broken home where she was left to roam the streets in the snow as a pup. I have had her for about two years and it breaks my heart to have to give her up. She is very energetic and needs a lot of space to run. She is an escape artist and would do well in a yard with high fences. Unfortunately she is our 3rd dog and she has learned how to get out of her new yard and has been chasing the neighbor’s cat. She does very well with other dogs and loves to pounce and play. She loves kids and always tries to lick my 2yr old nephew in the face. If you let her, she will crawl into your lap for cuddles. Kona does well in the house, but I would not leave her alone with your food. She is crate trained but needs leash training. We work long hours and do not have the time to commit to training her the way she needs, but with the right owner she will make a great family dog.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm little Pedrito, I'm a 22lb, 1 year old bundle of love! I am a pretty shy little boy, still scared of this world - but I love being around loving kind people, and when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I really love to get pets! I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I love to play with other dogs and would do best with a doggy sibling in my forever home, too! I live with 12 dog friends right now. I even know how to use a dog door! I'm calm and playful, a good mix - I just want to trust and love, will that be you? I would love to meet you and find my forever home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I’m Mama Bea!  I am a six year old female border collie mix.  I am the perfect size at 45 pounds.     I bond quickly to my human and will talk to you when I want something.  I don’t bark much:  it’s more of a hum and a mumble.  You’ll soon find out what I mean!   Because I am a working dog, I like to keep busy.  I would do best in a home with other dogs.  I will model their behavior and partner with them to get all the important things done!  I love to play in the backyard, or just snoop around.  A backyard for me is a must in my future home.  We should definitely plan on some time everyday to go on walks and check out the neighborhood.   Speaking of exercise, I want to go on lots of hikes with you!   I would do well in a home with school age children (8+) who want to pay me lots of attention.  I’m working on not jumping up, so they need to stand up to my affection.   I am really curious about cats and will chase them, so I would do best in a home without them.  Let me look at the squirrels in the trees all day long!   I am a super smart girl and already know basic obedience.  I’d love to practice it more, in order to form a tight bond with my person.   I am house trained and kennel trained.  My kennel is not my favorite place, but the good news is, you can trust me to be loose in the house, unattended, and I won't destroy anything.  I will sleep at the foot of your bed in a dog bed all night and I you might catch me snoozing on the couch during the day.   I’m a little shy meeting new people at first, but give me a chance and I’ll warm up to you quickly.  If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application for adoption and my foster mom will get in touch with you:   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2024, 4:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey Hey! My name is Paulmer and I’m ready for fun! I’ve been in my foster home for a while now, getting ready for adoption. I didn’t know what to think of humans when I first got here, but my foster family has shown me that people are pretty great! Now I’m ready to find my own family. I’m a great adventure buddy. I love car rides and walks, and I’m off-leash trained with my foster mom. It’ll take a minute to get to that point with a new family, but once I do, let’s go all the places and do all the things together! I’ll stay right with you like a good, loyal boy. Also, guess what. I can swim! I’m a certified water dog. Let’s go into the mountains, let’s hike and paddleboard and swim and run – I’m ready! Okay, actually, I’m still kind of shy. I still need some safe exposure and socialization with new things. It will probably take me a while to trust you the way I trust my foster family. But I want you to know, I’m ready for that! I can’t wait to learn to love you. One thing I’m definitely ready for is doggie friends. I’m a great buddy to dogs, so if your dog is looking for a buddy, it might just be me! I’m crate trained and potty trained and ready to meet you. Story
been looking for a new home for our two australian shepherd dogs! they are brother and sister and are about 5 years old. they are fantasy dogs that are potty and kennel trained! very good with other animals and people! love to play and run around, yet very well mannered while in the house and can be calm when needed. we are sad that we haven’t been able to give them the time and love they deserve and are looking for a family willing to take them both and give them the life they deserve! we travel a lot and don’t have many options with leaving them home! let me know if you have any questions, and unfortunately we are not willing to let them separate!
