Meet Charlie Barkley. He is a sweet, playful awesome dog who is very easy to love. He walks on a leash but needs additional training as he pulls. He knows some basic commands but does need a bit more training. Charlie is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old neutered male who weighs approximately 52 lbs. He was originally adopted by a family that decided they no longer wanted him so they dumped him in a south Nashville neighborhood. Charlie was found by a nice family that took him but cannot keep him because they have older cats. They would love to add him to their family but it just win't work out. He's been vet checked, is current on his vaccines and is in excellent health. Charlie is full of puppy energy and ready to play ball with the children. He needs a younger active and energetic family who can give him the exercise and play that he needs. A fecned in yard is a MUST for Charlie. When not playing, by the way ball is his favorite game, he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Charlie is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him. We are calling them "Border Bullies"! Mama is a Border Collie, dad is a Pit Bull! I cannot imagine how smart these pups will be! They were born on October 13th. The owner of Nelly (mom) and Bruce (dad) unfortunately wound up in jail and obviously couldn't take care of this little family so they were surrendered to us on the day they were born. Both mom and dad have beautiful temperaments so I am quite sure these pups will be amazing! They will be available for adoption by January 11, 2025. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. How can you resist!! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! Louie is a 6 year old, 37 lbs , cattle dog mix. He is a good boy who loves car rides, hikes, playing ball, and cuddling in the mornings. Unfortunately, he does not trust small children and with the newest addition to our household, needs to find a good home without children in it. He currently lives with a cat but will chase her to protect food. He likes dogs that are his size and smaller as well as larger submissive dogs. He is very trainable as he is a very smart boy. He is housebroken and can be left alone without having to be crated or gated. He can be reactive on a leash but this is as he is overly protective of those he loves. He has responded to treat training very well on leash in the past. We love Louie and only want him to go to a home who will love him like we do. He is a sweet boy and will be a wonderful addition to the right persons/people’s life!
