Please meet Jax -- a 6-year old Border Collie who was relinquished by his owner to the Long Run Pet Hospital in Wheeling, WV.  Jax loves to play with all kinds of toys. He does well on a leash and although housebroken, he might need a refresher course since he has been living at the vet clinic for over a year. Jax is very courteous at mealtime and will wait by his food bowl until given permission to eat. He knows many commands and loves to follow and please his humans. He gets along well with other dogs, does well with cats and kids of any age.  Jax is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. All he needs now is a permanent home to call his own. Raven was adopted from us a few months ago and recently brought back due to issues in the home. Raven would benefit from one on one training. She is a young girl who LOVES attention and loves to give it. Raven is a young girl who needs some manners training and needs to be taught what to do with all of that collie energy. She has so much potential she just needs to know how to use it.

Meet Edgar, a 1-year-old mix of Border Collie and Australian Kelpie tipping the scales at 23 pounds. He wears a medium coat of black and tan which he loves having stroked. And his eyes are quite unique; one is brown while the other (the left) is half brown and half blue! Beautiful eyes with excellent vision in both! His sweet, friendly nature is only outshone by his playful, goofy spirit that lights up any room! But don't let his playful side fool you. Edgar is equally content curled up for a quiet evening at home. He's a wonderful blend of fun and affection, always ready to make you smile or lend a comforting paw. Edgar's not just looking for a home, he's looking for a family to share his boundless love and joy! Adopt Edgar and let his playful spirit and sweet nature fill your home with laughter and love.
