Mandy! Meet Mandy - this sweet and polite lady is Mandy. She is a medium (approx 45-50ish lbs) mix who we think may be some sort of border collie/lab type mix and is around 1 yr old. Mandy was originally found as a stray in the south by a good samaritan. Although they already had a full house of dogs they could not resist helping Mandy and were able to connect with a rescue to get her to us. Mandy is great with other dogs. She is medium energy and seems to love all people. Mandy is good in a crate and working on housebreaking. She loves car rides, although needs a little encouragement to get in at first. She is spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped prior to adoption. She is up to date on preventatives and vetting. Interested in Mandy? Phoenix (20 months) is a classic Border Collie, royal with merle coat. Super playful, energetic, charming and good natured. We adopted him from his 1st owner 3 months ago (frequent work flights) and since had experienced lots of outdoors activity and socializing with other dogs. Phoenix is very submissive and fully trained. He is a real prince and our 2 y.o. feels very comfortable pulling on his ears and bossing him around. We decided to rehome him after an unfortunate event of redirected aggression towards a stranger, and us worrying for our 2 y.o. We believe he needs a better match with an experienced owner or a family with older kids.

Friendly Finn is a lucky dog. You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive. He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years. TRUTH! How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter. Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown. He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car. He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding. Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park. We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter. KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Roy is a 5 year old sweetheart, a total cuddle bug. He and his sister Yaz are very friendly laid-back dogs born and raised in Texas. He is very smart and eager to please. He will make an excellent companion to any household. He loves to play outside and fetch. He walks well on a leash and has good manners. He was turned over to our rescue partners because his 50 year old owner passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition. Roy was heartworm positive and has completed treatment. His sister Yaz has been adopted. Roy was adopted and returned because he was herding children. Being part heeler he needs a job that doesn't include rounding up children.
