Story
Oliver is a male Border Collie mix. Born 7-9-23. He was adopted by his owner as a puppy and just became too much for her to handle because of her own health issues and due to his size/breed and living in an apartment. She made the difficult decision to surrender him and we are learning more about him now that he’s in a foster home. His foster mom tells us he is a wonderful dog! He sleeps through the night in his crate and loves it. He is enjoying going on walks and playing with the other two dogs in his foster home. Ollie is house trained and crate trained. He loves to play with his toys and can play fetch for an hour. He also likes interactive games! He is very, very smart. We recommend a home with a fenced yard due to his playful nature and need for exercise. Another playful dog would be a plus! Ollie is a lover! He loves giving kisses and hugs! Overall, he is a very playful, loving, and smart dog ! He would do best in a family with children who are 8 years or older due to his larger size. He’s doing very well on his walks. He is pulling a bit and will need more leash training. If you are interested in adopting Ollie, please complete an adoption application that can be found on our website at: https://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/adoptables.html

Story
Trevor arrived in July as a last-minute save from an Ohio shelter. While at the shelter, he was dubbed Cappy, but his foster home read him a bunch of names and he picked Trevor from the list. He was so excited when that name was read - it had to be his! He loves being outside in the backyard. He will run and play but mostly just loves being around his people. He'll need some help with loose leash walking but otherwise, he's unperturbed by other people and dogs on his walks, although he does fancy birds. This food-motivated boy is smart and eager to learn. He goes into his crate when asked, knows "sit" and comes when called. His house-training is impeccable, too! In the house, he just wants to be with you. He will get upset when you leave the room, and he isn't able to follow you. He is such a sweetheart and wants to cuddle and give you hugs and kisses. He has come a long way in such a short period of time. He is a love bug and is now going up to everyone and giving them the same love and attention he gives his foster family. Please also look him up as well as all our pups on our website https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs Location: Ohio Contact: team@midwestbordercollierescue.org

Story
Arrow was born December 4, 2023 and is 10 months old. This handsome black and white spitz collie mix is petite weighing about 35 pounds. The perfect size to cuddle! Arrow is in foster care now with dogs of all different sizes. Arrow loves to play with dog that appreciate his energy. One of his favorite places to be is outside in the yard scavenging for sticks to chew on and sharing them with his foster siblings. Arrow also loves to watch for other animals and of course chase squirrels! Don’t worry, he’s yet to catch one although he tries! Arrow would make a great running or walking partner. He also has his cuddly side and enjoys snuggling up in his foster mom’s lap on the chair while watching television. Arrow is already crate trained and potty trained! Contact TRI at therescueinn@gmail.com or (216) 369-9141 for more information! TRI is a foster-based, §501(c)(3) volunteer run dog rescue based out of North Olmsted. Donations are tax-deductible.

Story
Hi there! I'm Tuesday, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! If you're interested in adopting me or just want to learn more, please reach out to Rachael at 440-773-0270 to set up a meet-and-greet. Here's a bit about me: Housebroken: I'll let you know when I need to go outside by ringing bells or giving you a nudge. Crate-trained: I'm comfortable in my crate, especially if I have some treat-filled toys to keep me occupied. I might get a bit too excited with the toys, though, so it's best to use them mainly when I'm in the crate. Free-roaming: I'm trusted to stay out of the crate now! While my foster mom is at work, I enjoy napping, watching squirrels, or playing with my toys. Quick learner: I know commands like sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, no-jump, and off. I'm still working on heeling, but I can do it on either side. I understand "okay as a cue to relax. Toy lover: I enjoy a variety of toys-fetching them, bringing them to you, or just playing by myself. Active and athletic: Whether it's walking, jogging, or running, I'm up for it! If you prefer a quieter activity, I love running around a yard. Car rides: I'm a pro at car rides and enjoy trips to different places, like the Metro Park. Snuggly: Once I get to know you, I'm all about cuddles and giving kisses! Social skills: I'm working on meeting new dogs. I can be a bit nervous at first, but I warm up quickly. Especially to younger dogs that are respectful. Special needs: I'd be happiest in a home without other animals or a younger dog that will give me time to warm up. I do think I would rather not live with small kids because I don't really like to share my food and toys. If I sound like a good fit for you, get in touch with Rachael at 440-773-0270 to arrange a meeting. I can't wait to meet you and see if we're a perfect match!
