Pretty is a pure bred shorthaired border collie, 2 years old. She is strong, gentle, affectionate. She desires to be obedient, listens and learns well, but had not been properly trained and may have some habits in need of correction. She has a strong a strong herding instinct, so she could make a good working farm dog. She is bold, but afraid of loud sudden noises such a thunder, fireworks, and gun shots, from which she seeks shelter or barks with concern at the sky. She would be a wonderful companion or family pet regardless. She has lived outside full time.  She gets along well with our four boys, ages 9–15, as well neighboring kids and adults. She has no fear of strangers and is friendly with everyone. Ideally, a new home would offer lots of outdoor time and space like she is accustomed to. A family that has breed experience. She could live indoors with outside time, but may not be compatible with smaller pets because of her strong prey drive, and will need to be house trained. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Axton! This sweet boy was one of the brightest kids in The DASH Prison Training Program where he brushed up on his house manners before he went to his current foster home. His foster mom said he's such a cuddle bug! In the program, he did well learning to walk on a leash and did not complain about being in his crate but would much rather be out snuggling with his people. He worked on "sit, down, stay, wait, & leave it." (Of course, continued work on these commands will keep him perfect)!  His handler said he is very intelligent, attentive, affectionate, and has become comfortable enough to snore in his sleep. Axton is a social boy, who seems to love all people, as well as other dogs! Axton also likes his toys and playing in water. He is energetic at play time but also loves when it's time to chill out. Axton did so well and consistent with practicing his basic commands, he moved on to tricks - He was learning to speak! He is ready for his new family. He's got his tuxedo on ready for his big day when he gets adopted. Let's not disappoint this good boy.  * Note: Axton is part of our Foster to Adopt program. ABOUT ME… Hello, I am Dante!! I am a Border Collie mix who may be a bit shy when you first meet me, but don’t let that fool you—I am quick to warm up. With my soulful eyes and soft, wavy coat, I hope I can soon be your best friend, eager to explore the world and stay close by your side. I love discovering new places, whether it's a walk through the park or an adventure in the backyard. I am still little so sometimes I need your reassurance. I love to cuddle and give kisses. I am in a house with elementary age children and 1 other dog who is 2 years old, who is teaching me the ropes and I am a fast learner! I AM GREAT WITH… I get along great with the other dogs and like children. I am a fast learner. I am learning to share and learn boundaries and treats drive me to learn more. I am doing really well on my crate training and with the right toys and cozy blanket enjoy my time in the crate. I AM STILL WORKING ON… I was not potty trained, but I am working hard on it, and I hardly have any accidents now. I go outside and inside very easily. My foster family has a doggie door and I can go in and out when I need to go. I'm also learning to stand by the door to let my foster family know I have to go outside. I AM NOT GOOD WITH… I have not met a cat yet so I do not know how I feel about them. I REQUIRE… Just a little patience and understanding while I learn and explore the world around me. I am curious and love to explore and hope you will be my new best friend. **All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**

Have had Boone since he was a puppy. Loves people and gets along with most animals. Hates fireworks and thunderstorms. Have prescribed medications for those events I can anticipate. Loves curling up and being petted. Plays chase the ball. Does not like wrestling or being physically confined. Clipping nails is an appointment. Truly a great dog but needs attention.

Meet PONZI! 🐾 Ponzi through no fault of his own find his little cute self on a euthanasia list in a small rural shelter due to lack of space. We could not let that happen and he is ever grateful. This guy is a pleasure to come home to for his foster mom. Always there with an excited smile on his face. He is just happy to have somewhere safe to land until his forever home comes along. Anyone would be very happy to call this pup their own. 💖 Personality: Full of personality, goofy, playful and energetic. Ponzi has a wonderful disposition. He takes correction wonderfully and seems to be a very quick learner. Ponzi gets along with all his foster mates and anyone that comes his way. He never meets a stranger. And is a quick heart stealer. Ideal Home: PONZI would do great in a family that has space to roam and explore, and maybe even another doggy sibling to make friends with. He would also be just fine as a single pup. This fella is super easy. If you are looking for a life-long companion and friend Ponzi is perfect for you. If you’re ready to give Ponzi a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! 🐶💕 Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family.
