Story
Atticus is a 10-12 month old Border Collie. I got him from the Marion county dog pound. He has lots of energy and, loves to go on walks. He would make a great family dog or running partner. He is a pure bread border collie, and he is around 1 year old. He needs a new home because I don't think that I can take care of him, and give him the attention he deserves. All of his vaccines are up to date, and he is very good with people, other dogs and cats.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Stewart, our very handsome and gentle 10 year old Border Collie Mix, one of two new arrivals at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue.  Stewart was found as a stray and ended up in an overcrowded shelter in Ohio. We pulled him out hoping to match him up with a gentleman who lives near us as he was looking for an older dog as a companion for his 8 year old Sheltie. Stewart is sweet, gentle, and very well behaved. He has his first Vet appt. in Dexter on November 7th. He will be microchipped, receive any vaccinations/boosters needed, and he will have a Heart Worm test to ensure his good health. Stewart and Jake (the Sheltie) met yesterday and it was like they were old friends. For now, we are hopeful this match will be successful so applications for his adoption will remain closed. If anything changes, Stewart will be placed on an active status so others can apply to meet him.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 6:36 am
