I am about 4 years old and come in at around 50lbs. I'm a happy, fun, lovin life pup that is eagerly awaiting to join you in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting!! I'm happiest when I'm right by your side. I am house trained already so that lets us get right to all the fun stuff...right away!! I had been diagnosed with heartworm disease but I've been treated with immiticide and have been cleared to go get me that family! I am an extremely very sweet and affectionate gal that does great with people both tall and small, other pups and even cats. There is no strangers out there, I am happy meeting everyone!! Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you.
