Story
Meet Olive Scottie & Olive are 4 months old and were purchased at 5 weeks old by a family that didn't know about littermate syndrome and also the energy of the herding breeds. They came into rescue and we sent them out to individual foster homes. What a difference! They learned to depend on people instead of each other. Both crate well, are dog and cat friendly, learning basic commands and doing great with housebreaking. Their parents were supposedly Spanish Water Dog and Border Collie. Adoption fee is $400 , Pups are microchipped, spayed/neutered, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, started on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Fill out an application @ http://www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure to let your vet know it's ok to give us a reference when we call. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment from approved applications.

Story
Hi there! I'm Tuesday, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! If you're interested in adopting me or just want to learn more, please reach out to Rachael at 440-773-0270 to set up a meet-and-greet. Here's a bit about me: Housebroken: I'll let you know when I need to go outside by ringing bells or giving you a nudge. Crate-trained: I'm comfortable in my crate, especially if I have some treat-filled toys to keep me occupied. I might get a bit too excited with the toys, though, so it's best to use them mainly when I'm in the crate. Free-roaming: I'm trusted to stay out of the crate now! While my foster mom is at work, I enjoy napping, watching squirrels, or playing with my toys. Quick learner: I know commands like sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, no-jump, and off. I'm still working on heeling, but I can do it on either side. I understand "okay as a cue to relax. Toy lover: I enjoy a variety of toys-fetching them, bringing them to you, or just playing by myself. Active and athletic: Whether it's walking, jogging, or running, I'm up for it! If you prefer a quieter activity, I love running around a yard. Car rides: I'm a pro at car rides and enjoy trips to different places, like the Metro Park. Snuggly: Once I get to know you, I'm all about cuddles and giving kisses! Social skills: I'm working on meeting new dogs. I can be a bit nervous at first, but I warm up quickly. Especially to younger dogs that are respectful. Special needs: I'd be happiest in a home without other animals or a younger dog that will give me time to warm up. I do think I would rather not live with small kids because I don't really like to share my food and toys. If I sound like a good fit for you, get in touch with Rachael at 440-773-0270 to arrange a meeting. I can't wait to meet you and see if we're a perfect match!

5/12/2024 Update: Coops continues his brave battle with cancer. Only one person has cared enough to send him food and badly needed supplements. But that is the new world we now live in, no one cares and sick rescue dogs are at the bottom of the list. SPONSORS ARE NEEDED TO HELP GIVE COOPER LONGER TO LIVE WITH A QUALITY OF LIFE. COOPER IS FIGHTING CANCER AND NEEDS YOUR HELP. Cooper has presented with Oral Melanoma, July 2023. He has a large tumor growing in his jawline. This affects his ability to eat. He needs soft food and supplements that you can sponsor for him. He also needs surgery for tumor removal and partial jaw removal. Radiation treatments and supportive natural medicines and treatments. To be a life-saving sponsor for Cooper, email: IndianSummersRezQ@gmail.com for a list of help needed. There is no gift too small everything helps and if you are unable or not wanting to support Cooper with monetary or needed supply contributions then could you please offer up a prayer for this wonderful dog. Prayer and caring is a Great Healer. I know, first hand, I have been fighting my own cancer for many years. 4th Stage Terminal and I'm still here, still trying to help others like Cooper. My prayers are for every body fighting cancer, let us pray for one another in hopes that are prayers will be answered. Blessings and Thanks, Hope Summers ISBCRezQers

Story
TEDDY 4YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 2YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken   This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $400.00 for the pair.
