Story
Nature: Baxter loves his pack! He is busy running and playing all day. He checks in for love and a quick pet but can't stay long because his other dog friends need him. Baxter will take time to adjust to a new home. But if you work to see the world through Baxter's eyes and don't get frustrated because he doesn't care to see the world through your eyes, he will accept you. Eventually. www.leroysranchhands.com

Story
Meet ONYX! Onyx came to us from Western Carolina right after Helene. He is full of puppy playfulness and has a bubbly personality. He would make a great family dog or a companion dog for an active individual. The shelter had him listed as a border collie but we are unsure of his breed (we do see a bit of Spuds McKenzie). He is about 4 months old and around 20lbs (so medium sized adult). Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2194023##

Story
Max came to us as a puppy at 4 months old. His birthday is November 28, 2020. He is a very lovable dog, loves to play and run around, has lots of energy and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. We have made the difficult decision to have him find a new home. We want to make sure that his new family has lots of space for him to run around and ample time to give him to play.

Story
Acquired my pet through online listing, she is very sweet, very friendly and good with people. she's a big cuddle bug and fairly trained for the most part, granted she's 11 months old. What I mean by that is she does bark at other dogs from time to time because she is nervous, and does love to jump on people but she is completely house trained. The only reason we cant keep her is because honestly we don't have enough space, I live in a one bedroom and the bigger she gets I can just tell she needs a house with a yard and somewhere she can run freely and really be happy and I would rather give her to someone who meets those needs while she is still young. Applicant MUST be a dog lover and have a fenced in yard for her to play in, she is ok with other dogs once she meets them but it may take her a little bit to get used to. Applicant must also be okay with a hyperactive dog. She runs a ton and loves to eat (as do all dogs) and needs plenty of water available at all times.
