Story
Hello there, future family! My name is Cranberry, and I'm here to add a little extra sweetness to your life this Thanksgiving season. Much like my namesake, I'm a delightful mix of sweet and tangy, guaranteed to put a smile on your face any day of the year. About Me I'm a playful pup with a heart as big as a Thanksgiving feast. Whether it's a game of fetch in the leaves or a cozy cuddle by the fire, I'm always ready to make your day brighter. I love to run and play, so if you're an active family looking for a furry companion to join in on your adventures, I'm your girl! What I Love Playing Outdoors: I adore the crisp fall air and chasing after leaves or toys in the yard. Cuddles: After a day of play, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up on the couch with my humans. Learning New Tricks: I'm eager to please and love learning new things, especially when treats are involved! My Perfect Home I'm looking for a furever home where I can be part of the family traditions. A place where we can create memories as sweet as pumpkin pie. I need a family who enjoys being active and will take me on lots of walks and adventures. As we gather around the Thanksgiving table, I promise to be thankful for every moment spent with you. So, if you're ready for a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally, I'm ready to be adopted into a home where I can be thankful every day.

Story
Hey, everyone! Meet Peter Pan, the coolest pup around! This guy has been on quite the journey, starting off in a shelter and ending up as teachers pet in his training! Peter Pan might come off a bit tough at first, but once you get to know him, he's all about the love and cuddles. He's even got the commands down pat: sit, stay, come, and leash walking – he's a pro! If you're an adventure seeker, Peter Pan is your perfect match! He's always up for exploring new places, so a fenced yard is a must-have for this adventurous boy. Are you the type of person who likes building your bond through training and games? This boy is obsessed with balls! Did we mention Peter Pan's training comes with touchup training? His trainer is eager to see both of you to help you continue Peter's ongoing journey! Looking for a furry friend who's great with other pups? Peter Pan is your guy! But kiddos under 16 might not be his jam, so a home with older kids is ideal. As for cats, well, let's just say Peter Pan's curiosity might get the best of him, so a cat-free zone is probably best. Sound like the perfect match for you? Head over to lastdaydogs.com to fill out an application and make Peter Pan a part of your happily ever after! #RescueDog #AdoptDontShopNovember 6, 2024, 9:04 am

Story
Dash is a sweet 1 1/2 year old boy rescued from a shelter. He is a cuddle bug that loves to receive and give affection. He is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and leave. We would love to keep him, however he does not get along well with our other dog. He would do best in a home without other dogs. We are unsure of how he would do with small children. Dash tested heartworm positive and is currently on medication. He will need additional veterinary care for this very treatable condition. He is has a huge heart and is wonderful with humans, he just needs the right pet-free loving home where he can thrive and give LOTS of cuddles. Please contact if interested!

Story
Acquired my pet through online listing, she is very sweet, very friendly and good with people. she's a big cuddle bug and fairly trained for the most part, granted she's 11 months old. What I mean by that is she does bark at other dogs from time to time because she is nervous, and does love to jump on people but she is completely house trained. The only reason we cant keep her is because honestly we don't have enough space, I live in a one bedroom and the bigger she gets I can just tell she needs a house with a yard and somewhere she can run freely and really be happy and I would rather give her to someone who meets those needs while she is still young. Applicant MUST be a dog lover and have a fenced in yard for her to play in, she is ok with other dogs once she meets them but it may take her a little bit to get used to. Applicant must also be okay with a hyperactive dog. She runs a ton and loves to eat (as do all dogs) and needs plenty of water available at all times.

Story
Meet ONYX! Onyx came to us from Western Carolina right after Helene. He is full of puppy playfulness and has a bubbly personality. He would make a great family dog or a companion dog for an active individual. The shelter had him listed as a border collie but we are unsure of his breed (we do see a bit of Spuds McKenzie). He is about 4 months old and around 20lbs (so medium sized adult). Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2194023##
