Story
I'm Rascal, a one-year-old, 53-pound Border Collie mix -- I have a slender build like a sighthound. I'm a smart, bouncy, curious boy. I love going on walks and adventures, and I want to greet everyone I meet; my tail is always wagging! I'm friendly with other dogs and with children. I'm in a foster home right now, and my foster mom says I learned to heel and to leash walk in just a single day! I'm very clever and pick up new skills quickly, in part because I'm so treat motivated. I already have learned sit, down, and paw, and I'm working on come and stay. I would excel at agility work. I'd love to find an active family who enjoys the outdoors, and a fenced yard would be a plus because I enjoy racing around and getting my zoomies out -- I'm very fast! In the home, I like to chill with a bully stick or lie next to my foster family while they watch a movie. I sleep quietly in my crate all night, and I'm completely housetrained. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

We are calling them "Border Bullies"! Mama is a Border Collie, dad is a Pit Bull! I cannot imagine how smart these pups will be! They were born on October 13th. The owner of Nelly (mom) and Bruce (dad) unfortunately wound up in jail and obviously couldn't take care of this little family so they were surrendered to us on the day they were born. Both mom and dad have beautiful temperaments so I am quite sure these pups will be amazing! They will be available for adoption by January 11, 2025. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. How can you resist!! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $500

Story
There are special dogs in this world. You know them when you meet them. Just like people,Kaye they are all special for their own reasons.  Our blue eyed Kaye is a former mama dog that had several litters before she was two years old.  Down in a very rural area of Tennessee, we had apparently helped an earlier litter get adopted out after they were found on an isolated country highway. They looked exactly like her, but yet we did not know who or where she was yet. Six months later, Kaye was discovered by an older couple that had found the previous puppies, and she was very pregnant again.  We are adopting those puppies out now and they are precious like their mom.   Blue Eyed Kaye probably had never had fun in her life until she came in to our foster care. Now she's having the time of her life.  She's able to play and be loved and have fun.  Being a stray for most of your life and having litter after litter of puppies with nowhere to go, is pretty sobering.  Her beautiful blue eyes now dance with joy and delight as she plays with the resident foster dog who is half her size.  Kaye is a Border Collie, Aussie and Pointer mix.  She is around two years old and 47 pounds.  This girl learned the doggy door within hours of arrival and she definitely hates crates. GOOD NEWS IS.... when left out during the day, she does not destroy a thing. She is very respectful. This girl has just the right energy for playfulness, and then chill time.  She loves all creatures and would be a great family companion who would be wonderful with children.  She can live with other dogs or cats. Or she could be a single family pet.  All Kaye  wants is love.  If you have all the special ingredients for making her life the most fairy tale ending ever, please write to Critter Cavalry  Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   She is ready for her Prince Charming family to come along and sweep her off her feet. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 19, 2025, 1:48 pm

Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie, and she is from what we can tell,  a border collie mix that defies definition in character and charm and intelligence. This girl is approximately 4-5 months old.And weighs twenty eight pounds. Her adult weight should be about 45 pounds. Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of abuse or more accurately qualified as neglect.  She was located in a very small pin that was outside with very little cover. No straw low temperatures and food thrown on the ground without a bowl and frozen water in the water bucket her owner was actually homeless and not even in the area due to illness.   We expected a very emotionally damaged girl as well as physically harmed, but that was not the case.   Our girl Kinsey is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Full of life and resilience and confidence.  She adores other dogs young children comma is fine with cats.If that is what she needs to live with.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold happy and full of smiles an energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good and good will come back to her.And that is what we have promised her at critter cavalry rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. And our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. Kinsey is a dog that will make you live with a big soul and a ready expectation to good things to happen in your life.  She brings great karma to all who meet her.  She has the softest silkiest fur ever.  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 27, 2025, 6:55 pm

Story
URGENT need for adopter!! This is Leo , he’s a 3yr old cattle ( March 12th bday ). He loves playing with balls, tug of war, and enjoying treats, especially meat. Outdoors, he enjoys trips to the park and beach, though he's still learning to swim. Leo can be cautious around certain dogs, children, teens, and strangers, but with time and patience, he opens up. He needs training, love, and an active lifestyle. Leo thrives in a home where he receives attention, structure, and affection. If you're ready to invest time in him, Leo will bring joy and loyalty into your life. My family could be facing legal issues regarding the health of our youngest if we continue to keep him. We all love him very much and wish he could stay but this is our best options vs a shelter.

Adoptable in: MA Good with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesPep is a chill, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who’s ready to go on your next adventure! Pep would likely do well in nearly any home ready to give him all the love.He is a low to medium energy pup who loves to stroll around the pond or hop in the car but is perfectly content to chill on the couch nearby. Pep gets along well with other pups and would do just fine with a canine sibling. He has interacted well and is respectful of cat boundaries in his current foster home, but has shown too much interest in new cats in new evironments, so he would most likely do best without a cat in the home. His gentle disposition would likely do fine with kids in the home.Pep is smart and eager to please. He is crate trained and potty-trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issues. He is working on his leash manners and loves to explore the world with his nose, so he would benefit from an owner excited to continue his training as he navigates his new environment.Pep is an all-around great pup with an easy-going temperament - are you ready to call him family?*Pep is part of our Medical Foster-to-Adopt Program as he is on prescription food. If you're interested in learning more, we will connect you with our Medical Team to explain the process! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
