Story
Cody's a great dog full of energy and always wants to play. He loves the outdoors and once he knows you he will follow you everywhere. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. I would like to find a good a home for him with someone that is experienced dog owner, has a yard so he can run around and play. I will happily bring him out to meet you for a formal introduction. My schedule is hectic so I feel sad that I don't have as much time for him as before. He is loving and carrying he is like family so he needs the same love and carrying from his new family.

Story
Louie is about 5 years old and originally from Houston, TX. A neighbor put him out on the street because he was considered “too much trouble,” and we took him in. He has been with our family for about 4 years. Louie is neutered, microchipped, and has had basic training. Unfortunately, my mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and as painful as this decision is, we are no longer able to care for our dogs the way they deserve. Louie is very active and loves going on walks and running. He’s also a great climber. He does well with kids( I have a toddler and a baby). He will bark when he needs to go outside to relieve himself. He is still working on recall and tends to pull on the leash during walks. Louie already has a groomer he is comfortable with, and if you are local, we would love for him to continue seeing her since he is used to her. We are hoping to find a loving and active family or individual who will have the time to take him on walks, hikes, and give him the attentio

Story
Jelly is a resilient, affectionate, and incredibly smart girl looking for her forever home. After a tough start in life—evidenced by scars on her muzzle from past mistreatment—she has proven to be a "quick learner" who is ready to leave her past behind and shower her new family with love.   Personality & Home Life • House-Training Hero: Jelly is fully house-trained and knows to go potty outside.   • Crate & House Manners: She is comfortable and quiet in her crate at night. When left alone in the house, she is respectful and non-destructive.   • Energy Level: She is a high-energy pup who loves to stay busy and play!   • Affection: Jelly is a total sweetheart who loves to crawl into laps for snuggles or curl up right at your feet.   Social Life & Play • Dog-Friendly: She currently lives with medium to large dogs. While she was initially wary of much larger dogs, she now plays constantly with her "dog buddies" before crashing for a nap.   • Cat-Friendly: Jelly lives with cats and has become well-adjusted to her feline roommates.   • People Person: She loves meeting new people!   • Play Style: She is a fan of "rough and rowdy" wrestling and chase-and-run games. She also loves any toy, especially a good game of tug-of-war.   Training Progress Jelly is a "smart, sweet learner" currently working on her Sit and Leave it commands. She is also making great progress on her leash manners and is learning not to pull during walks.   Ideal Home Jelly would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and continue her training. Because she can be a bit overwhelmed by new places at first, she’d love a family that can offer her a little patience as she settles in.    This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. ##2679368##

Story
Lucy is a beautiful one year old from TX. She appears to be a Border Collie mix and her blue eyes are stunning! She's very sweet and great with other dogs. This little girl was found as a stray MANY miles away from home address on her microchip. She was not traced to an owner so sat in the shelter until coming to Save A Dog in hopes of a new family. She is spayed and we believe housetrained. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and we will get right back to you. ·

Now he is ready to find a home where he can get lots of love and affection. Hunter is a strong and tough dog who has proven to be a survivor. He is stubborn and independent, but also very loving. He is looking for a home where he can be the only dog and receive lots of attention from his humans.
