Story
Domino is a very sweet, 50 pound energetic herding breed mutt that is about 6 years old. She loves people - adults and children, and she LOVES to run. One of her favorite things in the world is just cuddling up next to her favorite humans (which is anyone!), receiving love. She is great with basic training skills like sit, fetch, stay, leave it, and is good with recall. Domino also LOVES her crate - it is her safe space, and she does very well sleeping in it at night, or if she needs a break. She has never had any major issues with her health, aside from some issues with her teeth and minor bumps and bruises from romping around. While she is absolutely fantastic with people, she can be touch and go with other dogs. She was brought up extremely socialized with other dogs, but as she has gotten older, her behavior around other dogs has become less predictable. We have had issues between her and our other pets, and we feel like she may flourish to live her best life with another family.

Story
Kylo is a wonderful boy! He will be 5 years old in a few weeks and is very well trained and loved. He loves to play and is very food motivated. He knows a ton of tricks, sit, spin, lay down, high five, shake, roll over and is learning to sit pretty, he also knows to wait for his food until we release him. He is house trained, potty trained and crate trained. He loves new people and is great with other dogs and wonderful with our 1 year old daughter, he loves attention and is very affectionate. We absolutely adore him but don't have the time he needs and it breaks our hearts but we know that he deserves better as we are at work 9 to 10 hours a day. We would love him to have another dog to play with though im sure he would be wonderful on his own, or an active family. He loves hikes and is good off leash. A yard would be great but not needed, he is used to apartments. We've spent the last five years loving him and training him to be as wonderful as he is, we want him to be just as loved.

Story
Maisie is a petite young pup who loves more than anything to play tug of war with big dogs! She is an adventurous love-bug who likes to know as much as she can about everything. She is extremely intelligent and loving, and we do not think she will be too big at all, as it appears she has some smaller terrier in her. That terrier also allows for energy and enthusiasm with everything that she does! She adores children and other dogs and sleeps through the night with her sister. She is going to be an incredible addition to any family ready for an enthusiastic, energetic little girl!

Story
This sweet, beautiful girl is Ogallala but everyone calls her Olga. She came to Soul Dog in 2021 fearful and feral. Olga is still very fearful, a high-anxiety neurotic dog, but also very sweet and gentle and silly. For the first several months in her long-term foster home, Olga hid in her selected corner and only snuck around at night. Over time, she has gradually blossomed from cowering in the corner to relaxing on the sofa with the pack, greeting the family when they come home, and soliciting affection. Now instead of trying to hide, one of her favorite past-times is shouting out the window at people and dogs outside. Although she has gained a lot of confidence, Olga still has a lot of fears and triggers. She is terrified of people and loud sounds, and anything that sounds like banging. The sounds of roofers or even kids playing basketball will send her running. When she’s frightened or unsure, her instinct is to bolt, then hunker down and hide. She has come an unbelievably long way during her time with her foster and is starting to learn that some people and places aren't so bad. She needs a kind and understanding person to give her the patience, quiet, time, and love that she desperately needs. Since she has grown very comfortable in and accustomed to her foster home after all this time, ideally, she should have a gradual transition to her forever home to ease her fears and separation anxiety.

Story
Milo is the definition of resilient! He didn't get exposure to much during his first year of life, but since moving to Colorado 2 weeks ago, he has learned how to be an inside dog and walk on a leash! Once he knows you, he is happy to follow you around the house and keep you company. He is still new to leash walking, but he is doing great! He walks next to his foster siblings perfectly and will walk next to his foster mom if the other dogs are off leash. He has taken some hikes with his foster, and did great! We're sticking to less busy trails while he's still getting used to everything, but I'm sure he'll work up to busy trails soon!Milo hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding and is happy to share his space/toys/etc with the other dogs. His kennel is his safe space and he's happy to sleep there and hang out whenever his foster isn't home. He has never had an accident at his foster home and is fully potty trained. Milo is very quiet and his foster has never heard him bark. Milo currently lives with two dogs (10 years old and a 3 years old), and does great with both of them. He seems to read their energy and adjusts his actions accordingly. When one of the dogs wants to play, he's happy to play but when the other dogs want to be left alone, he doesn't bother them. He really watches and learns from the other dogs in his foster home, so we're looking for a forever home that has at least one other dog. He doesn't need a ton of exercise each day but would love to join you for whatever plans you have! He's made a lot of progress but he's still a little quirky, so we're looking for the right fit that will help him blossom even more and love him for his quirks. He hasn't shown any signs of aggression (even when he's pushed) but he will shy away from touch from even people he knows unless he's laying down. Milo will lay next to people he knows, but it should be on his terms. He happily sandwiches himself between any of the people and dogs on the couch in his foster home! He would be happiest in a calmer house without small kids because they would probably overwhelm him. If you and your dog(s) have the patience to help Milo continue to learn all about how fun life as a pet can be, it will be so rewarding! ##2251561##

Story
Winnie is a sweet, loving dog. She considers herself a lap dog and loves anyone who will give her pets and snuggles. Winnie gets along well with male dogs but should not be in a house with another female dog. She loves walks and would need a yard to run around in. We adopted her 2 years ago from the dumb friends league and have loved having her. She is about 5 years old and in good health. We are only re-homing her because we have a 1 year old, and Winnie does not like how he plays with her and can get a little snippy. Adults that know how to handle and care for dogs gently will have no issue with her though. If you love her, she will give you love 10 times over. She is crate trained as well.
