Story
Betty is a a funny, happy girl who came to us from the Crow Indian Reservation where she suffered a chemical burn to her tongue. Betty was barely able to eat and the vet treated her for a secondary infection. She still has some scarring on her tongue but otherwise this brave soul is really a wonderful dog! We have no idea if the chemial burn was intentional or not but we did rescue 3 other dogs with similar burns. Our best guess on Betty's age is 3 years and she is around 45 pounds. She makes her foster mom laugh when she plays with her squeeky toy and then buries it uder the blanket on her bed. She's such a silly girl! Betty! For her to have such a fun personality after her horrible ordeal is a marvel. WE NEED A FOSTER HOM FOR BETTY!!  SHE IS LIVING IN A GARGE UNTIL WE FIND A FOSTER OR ADOPTER. She keeps her kennel clean so we think that she will house train quickly. She is not leash trained. Betty is a Border Collie mix If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2250864##

Story
Meet Arlo! He is young and eager to explore and have all the fun that's meant to be had, he also has the cutest little grin. Arlo is an active guy and is likely going to enjoy a routine that includes plenty of exercise and fun puzzle toys to stimulate his young mind. Arlo has enjoyed opportunities for casual recreation with other playful dogs, but he is recommended to live in a home without other canines due to guarding behavior around his favorite toys and rawhide chews. He's a good walker, knows sit and shake, and takes treats gently. And taking his time to sniff may be the name of his game! We're betting he would love an outdoorsy family or a family that enjoys spending quality time playing with or teaching their dog fun skills! Arlo will only be rehomed to a family with children 10 or older and without cats. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 48.4 Age: 3yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
Domino is a very sweet, 50 pound energetic herding breed mutt that is about 6 years old. She loves people - adults and children, and she LOVES to run. One of her favorite things in the world is just cuddling up next to her favorite humans (which is anyone!), receiving love. She is great with basic training skills like sit, fetch, stay, leave it, and is good with recall. Domino also LOVES her crate - it is her safe space, and she does very well sleeping in it at night, or if she needs a break. She has never had any major issues with her health, aside from some issues with her teeth and minor bumps and bruises from romping around. While she is absolutely fantastic with people, she can be touch and go with other dogs. She was brought up extremely socialized with other dogs, but as she has gotten older, her behavior around other dogs has become less predictable. We have had issues between her and our other pets, and we feel like she may flourish to live her best life with another family.

Story
Kylo is a wonderful boy! He will be 5 years old in a few weeks and is very well trained and loved. He loves to play and is very food motivated. He knows a ton of tricks, sit, spin, lay down, high five, shake, roll over and is learning to sit pretty, he also knows to wait for his food until we release him. He is house trained, potty trained and crate trained. He loves new people and is great with other dogs and wonderful with our 1 year old daughter, he loves attention and is very affectionate. We absolutely adore him but don't have the time he needs and it breaks our hearts but we know that he deserves better as we are at work 9 to 10 hours a day. We would love him to have another dog to play with though im sure he would be wonderful on his own, or an active family. He loves hikes and is good off leash. A yard would be great but not needed, he is used to apartments. We've spent the last five years loving him and training him to be as wonderful as he is, we want him to be just as loved.

Story
Panda is good with other dogs, cat curious, and good with kids but does like to play since he is still a puppy so kids over 8 recommended. Panda would thrive in a home with another active dog and work from home pawrents. Extremely smart. Needs stimulation. House trained & uses dog door. Current on all vaccinations. Completed a one month board and train with the Colorado Dept of Corrections which allows owners weekly maintenance classes free of charge! Panda and his pitbull friend found themselves abandoned on the streets of San Antonio, Texas. They were trying to take shelter from the brutal 100 degree summers underneath cars in an apartment complex. Instead of being shown compassion, one of the residents were threatening to end their lives! We found ourselves in a unfortunate position, after hearing how little the community was helping. A member of our foster program in Texas stepped up to help. He knows basic commands and LOVES toys! Even though he was born in Texas he is a Colorado dog at heart! Ready to live his best life and explore right along next to you! He is going to be a medium sized dog.  ##2088029##

Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2114313##

Story
Meet Nikkei! This handsome ~6 month-old shepherd mix has stolen his foster mom's heart! He is so wonderful with her other dogs and makes it a point to be deferential and friendly to not only her dogs but her cats too! Currently Nikkei lives with 4 other dogs of varying ages and sizes. He is respectful to the older, more sedentary dog and seeks out play with the younger female cattle dog. During the day when his foster mom is at work, Neikki has free roam and is well behaved and hasn't gotten into mischief. He doesn't bother the kitties either! Such a good boy!  Nikkei is the perfect blend of playful and sweet, and his gentle nature will melt your heart. He loves belly rubs and will happily roll over for more as soon as you start! Playing with toys is another one of his favorite pastimes, especially with a few squeaky ones to keep him entertained. Though he’s a little shy when first meeting new friends, Nikkei warms up quickly quickly and it only takes a minute for his happy personality to emerge! His gentle temperament and puppy curiosity make him a wonderful companion for someone who will help him build confidence and feel secure while exploring the world. Nikkei was rescued from an Indian Reservation where he suffered a chemical burn to his tongue. He was barely able to eat and the vet treated him for a secondary infection. He still has some scarring on his tongue but otherwise this brave soul is really a wonderful dog! We have no idea if the chemial burn was intentional or not but we did rescue 3 other dogs with similar burns. Neikki is such a great size! Story
Boots is a courtesty post for his owner. Boots is a sweet, affectionate dog. I adopted him from a shelter when he was young. He lived in a van and traveled all over the country for the past few years with me and my other dog Axel. In the past 2 years as he gotten older, he has started to become more territorial with my other dog Axel. With kids entering my life, I am really struggling to keep them both in the house and feel safe with the kids around. I've worked with a local trainer to help understand his triggers, and more than happy to help financially support anyone that wants to continue training. He is great on a leash, house trained, not destructive at all, and well trained outside. He is really relaxed in a single dog home and prefers to snooze in bed all day or in the sun. Boots is 4 years old and weighs 65 lbs. If you would like to meet Boots, please contact his owner, Antonia, antonia.villa.2012@gmail.com or 908-420-8863 ##2235819##
