Stitch is a 3-year-old, Border Collie/Newfoundland mix (we think) of the XL variety weighing in at 85 lbs. He’s extremely sweet and loves cuddling with his humans. Belly rubs are his love language. Stitch is a very social guy. He’s great with adults, kids, and strangers. He’s the ultimate adventure buddy. Stitch boasts 12 mile runs, swimming, fetch, hiking, and making snow angels. He’s like the all weather tire of the dog world! Stitch is so smart. He’s crate-trained, house broken, and knows sit, stay, down, leave it, out (drop the ball), and has great recall. He’s a gentleman and won’t jump on the furniture, but would love to cuddle with you on the couch if he’s invited. He is very food motivated (but not territorial over it) so he’s very receptive to positive reinforcement/treat-based training. Stitch is not reactive while out and about, minding his own business. However, he prefers to be the only dog in the home. Buddy is a sweet and very loyal dog. Once he falls in love with you he falls hard. He will follow you to the bathroom and wait for you to come back out and follow you all over the house. Buddy needs a soft spoken master who will be gentile with him. He loves walks and belly rubs. He loves a good car ride especially if he can sit in the front seat. He has been amazing with my two older children but he is getting older (he's about 8 yrs old) and he isn't as patient with my now 1 year old. I hope for him to find a loving forever home with a caring master. He is very loved and will be forever missed.

Circe is a very loving dog, she needs lots of love and attention in return, she is good with dogs cats and kids, she is clumsy so while she is good around babies she might need some watching just to make sure she doesn’t accidentally step on them. She does have separation anxiety and hates being left alone so as a result of that she does not do well in kennels especially for long periods of time. I would try to have someone home as much as possible during the adjustment period. We unfortunately are not able to give her the attention she needs and deserves because my wife and I both work full time jobs and have a baby. Because of those things we are rarely home. She has some behavioral issues mainly in the form of not listening and jumping but I think it’s due to the lack of attention. I do believe this can be trained out of her but we do not have the time. As much as it breaks my heart to have to do this I think it’s what is best for her. She is an amazing dog and needs an amazing home

Hazel is a sweet older dog (10 years) who we have had since she was a puppy. She loves to go on walks and play fetch, but also like a being lazy at home. She gets along well with our male dog but has always butted heads with our female dog (they've known each other her entire life). We think she'd do best in a home without other female dogs. We have a toddler and a newborn and have made the heart wrenching decision that we cannot handle her as a third dog anymore. She does fine with our toddler but startles easily so our toddler knows she is off limits for playing.

Hi! My name is Aspen. I am a purebred Australian Shepherd. I am 2 years old. I was born July 20th 2022. My dad got me from a breeder in Fort Morgan CO. I am the biggest lover. I really love running outside and chasing bunnies in the back yard. But I also love to sleep all day and be lazy, which is not like most Aussies. I get along really well with other dogs. I love people and do great with kids. I can be left out in the home while you’re gone without any issues. I am fully potty trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. When you open the front door I will not try to run away. I have no health problems and eat once a day usually. My dad changed jobs and is now gone for days at a time on shift at work and can no longer take care of me. He feels horrible leaving me at home for so long. I need a loving home and can’t wait to meet you! Thank you!
