Oli, Border, Collie, 3 yrs., 45 lbs. Oli was abandoned on our land a couple of years ago. He has a very sweet and energetic personality. He has been gentle with my husband and I and our children. He loves to snuggle up and be pet. He can get a little nervous and skittish around people he doesn't know. He is crate trained. He is not house trained apart from being in the crate at night. He has very strong herding instincts. He does chase cats. He would do better as an only dog with someone home most of the time. He could do well with another dog if he received supervision and training. Someone with Border Collie experience and an active life style would be ideal. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Sweet little Sammy! This girl is about 1-2 years old and 45 lbs. She used to be a street dog in Texas. She hung around a local business and the townspeople indicate she was pregnant with her 3rd litter when we took her in. It wasn’t long after arriving into foster in Texas she gave birth. Shortly after that, Sammy and all her puppies traveled to CO. Sammy has whelped her babes and is ready now to find her forever home. Per the DNA of her pups, Sammy is a Border Collie, Saint Bernard, and Husky mix. She is an alert barker but she doesn’t seem to have an affinity for jumping fences like some of her DNA suggests. Sammy is dog friendly and has done well with the older kiddos in her foster home. Sammy is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/sammy/. ADOPTION FEE: $575 Meet Coneja! This gorgeous sweet lady is ready for her forever home! From her wonder foster 2/27: "Coneja is doing so well! She is the biggest snuggle bug and loves attention! She is very attentive and in tune with what is going on around her. She likes to play quietly with her toys but also has energy when you want to play with her. I have loved getting to know her sweet personality!" We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Hi, I'm Phantome! I am just as intelligent, loyal, and sweet as I am handsome. I like to take my time with new places and people to really observe and soak in everything around me. You can see my mind always whirring, my eyes carefully observing, and my ears are always at attention! I love to watch people and follow you around, being a part of whatever you do. I can be a bit timid at first, but don't let that fool you! Once I settle in quickly, my playful pup side comes out as I romp and snuggle. I love puzzle toys to keep my brain busy and also making new dog friends. I am an excellent walking companion, and I love car rides and new adventures. I make an excellent buddy for all your indoor and outdoor activities - I just love to be by your side! I am also potty and crate trained, which is a bonus! I have been patiently waiting a long time for my family, and would love to be your boy!

Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 35 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.
