We are looking for a good home that is good about routine and exercise. He has had 2 homes in the past. I am fostering him and teaching him to problem solve and being confident while doing so. He is underexposed and nervous around unknown things, I cannot keep him sadly but i am able to help find him a new home. He knows basic obedience.

Story
Todd is honestly a wonderful dog. We got him from a farm in De Beque. He does not bark much, only as a warning to us when someone is at the door, or he hears something suspicious. He loves to hike, run alongside me mountain biking, is desperate for walks every day and is very loving. Todd is 6 years old. He needs a home that is very outgoing and active, preferably without young children or other pets. The reason we have chosen to rehome him is we simply cannot keep up with his need for activity anymore and he occasionally has issues marking and pooping in the house. We believe this is because he does not get the exercise he needs as much, as he did not do this until we had children and couldn't provide that anymore. If you're looking for a hiking, running or mountain bike buddy, he might be the perfect dog for you!

Story
Doc is a calm, observant dog with a quiet, steady presence. He’s settling in beautifully to his foster home and has shown himself to be a wonderful companion. As part of a herding breed, Doc is naturally calm and respectful around farm animals at his foster home. He’s been around donkeys and horses without issue and doesn’t bark or charge at them through the fence. His composed demeanor makes him a great fit for a rural or farm setting.Doc is excellent on a leash and seems to have had training—he walks right at your side with ease. At home, he’s a quiet sleeper, though his gentle snoring might give away just how relaxed he feels. His loyal and shadow-like nature means he loves following his person around the house now that he’s comfortable in his surroundings.Doc is currently transitioning to a healthy diet, including kibble and Science Diet wet food.If you’re looking for a mellow, well-mannered dog with a gentle heart, Doc is ready to meet you! ??

Story
We acquire him at the Mesa County Animal Services. He's about 15 months. He needs space to run around and a job to do. We cannot provide that for him this point. He also needs a consistent schedule with supervision. He responds well to most commands and is very happy dog. He is very active and very intelligent. We prefer that he have a home with a back yard that is fenced.

Story
Four years ago, our son left his dog, Phish, with us with the intention of retrieving him later. However, due to changes in his circumstances, he's unable to take Phish back. We're now looking to find Phish a new, loving home where he can thrive. Phish is mostly Border Collie with a bit of Pit Bull, fully vaccinated, and well-mannered. He doesn't bark, bite, or have accidents indoors, and he's excellent with children. Our concern is that both my wife and I work long hours — she at the hospital for 14-hour shifts, and I am away for similar lengths of time, only coming back briefly at lunch to let Phish out. This means he spends most of his day confined to his crate, which isn't ideal for an active dog like him. Phish would be perfect for a home with a farm or large property where he can roam freely. We hope to place him in a good home as soon as possible. He comes equipped with a crate, Iams dog food, a food storage bin, and a blanket. He is loved and deserves the best
