Story
Oli, Border, Collie, 3 yrs., 45 lbs. Oli was abandoned on our land a couple of years ago. He has a very sweet and energetic personality. He has been gentle with my husband and I and our children. He loves to snuggle up and be pet. He can get a little nervous and skittish around people he doesn't know. He is crate trained. He is not house trained apart from being in the crate at night. He has very strong herding instincts. He does chase cats. He would do better as an only dog with someone home most of the time. He could do well with another dog if he received supervision and training. Someone with Border Collie experience and an active life style would be ideal. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
This sweet, beautiful girl is Ogallala but everyone calls her Olga. She came to Soul Dog in 2021 fearful and feral. Olga is still very fearful, a high-anxiety neurotic dog, but also very sweet and gentle and silly. For the first several months in her long-term foster home, Olga hid in her selected corner and only snuck around at night. Over time, she has gradually blossomed from cowering in the corner to relaxing on the sofa with the pack, greeting the family when they come home, and soliciting affection. Now instead of trying to hide, one of her favorite past-times is shouting out the window at people and dogs outside. Although she has gained a lot of confidence, Olga still has a lot of fears and triggers. She is terrified of people and loud sounds, and anything that sounds like banging. The sounds of roofers or even kids playing basketball will send her running. When she’s frightened or unsure, her instinct is to bolt, then hunker down and hide. She has come an unbelievably long way during her time with her foster and is starting to learn that some people and places aren't so bad. She needs a kind and understanding person to give her the patience, quiet, time, and love that she desperately needs. Since she has grown very comfortable in and accustomed to her foster home after all this time, ideally, she should have a gradual transition to her forever home to ease her fears and separation anxiety. She isin a foster home. If you’re interested in meeting her please submit an application on our website at www.souldog.org. Email adopt@souldog.org with any questions!

Story
Stitch is a 3-year-old, Border Collie/Newfoundland mix (we think) of the XL variety weighing in at 85 lbs. He’s extremely sweet and loves cuddling with his humans. Belly rubs are his love language. Stitch is a very social guy. He’s great with adults, kids, and strangers. He’s the ultimate adventure buddy. Stitch boasts 12 mile runs, swimming, fetch, hiking, and making snow angels. He’s like the all weather tire of the dog world! Stitch is so smart. He’s crate-trained, house broken, and knows sit, stay, down, leave it, out (drop the ball), and has great recall. He’s a gentleman and won’t jump on the furniture, but would love to cuddle with you on the couch if he’s invited. He is very food motivated (but not territorial over it) so he’s very receptive to positive reinforcement/treat-based training. Stitch is not reactive while out and about, minding his own business. However, he prefers to be the only dog in the home. Stitch is being fostered in Arvada, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/stitch/. Yonnie is 4 years old he is a very loving and protective dog. He loves attention and loves to stay by your side 24/7. He loves to to roll around on the grass on the carpet and he has a lot of energy. He loves car rides, walks and being outside. He is great with children of all ages, we have a toddler in the home who he is great with. He gets along with other dogs at the dog park and he does have a pet brother that we need to re-home as well. My spouse and I both work full time jobs and are rarely home. Yonnie needs a home where he can run and play instead of being in the kennel because he is not house trained.

Story
Hello! I`m Cowboy! I`m a really handsome and fun-loving Border Collie mix who is looking for an active home that loves adventure! I wont be happy lounging around the house 24/7, I need to be moving and using my brain so daily activities like trick training, puzzle toys, hiking, jogging, long walks or dog sports like agility, treibball and barkour will be a must. I can be very forwards and rude with other dogs and can be selective about my friends so I need a home as your only pup. Because of my herding I will need a home without children under 12, cats, small mammals and small dogs since they can be easily overwhelmed by jumping and herding. Not convinced to adopt me yet? My previous family also says I am house trained, crate trained, enjoy playing fetch and love car rides. Looking for a fun loving, active, goofy dog to join your home? Then come and meet me because I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Meet Tom! This sweet, intelligent, affectionate guy is the perfect companion for any family. His favorite pastimes include snacking, playing with squeaky toys, and cuddling. Tom is very social and would love a family that includes him in everyday activities to keep. While Tom will make a wonderful addition for apartment dwellers, he can be a tad vocal, so shared wall neighbors should be provided a heads up as he transitions. Tom is gentle and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. To add this perfect puppy to your home, apply today! Tom is a 2-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Tom is also tested with other dogs, children, and cats. He's in foster care learning potty and kennel training. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 35 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.
