Story
Summit is a bundle of happy energy! He loves everyone and has almost no fear! He is a healthy, happy, energizer bunny who loves living with people and other dogs, learns quickly, and introduces himself easily. He enjoys going for walks, and is already walking well on a leash, eating as much food as he can get, and sleeping on his people. We cannot quite figure out exactly what he is mixed with, but we do think he will be on the smaller side. He is quickly picking up on house training and loves getting praise and being held. He is very food motivated, so training is going well. He will need meaningful exercise and brain games, and that will be very important to keep him motivated and happy, but he will be an amazing partner in adventure!

Story
Meet Oreo! 1.5 years old came into rescue 10/21 Oreo is a male Aussie I think with Border collie- He along with 6 others that are coming in are from a breeder shut down. They all lived outside in Texas their whole lives in large kennel runs. Being that he lived his entire live outside, there are a lot of things that are scary and he will need someone that is extremely patient and willing to help him see that things are going to be okay. The dogs all lived with other dogs in their kennels and are living with dogs in their foster homes which has proven to really help them learn how to be a dog and be confident. Having another confident and friendly dog in the home is going to be important. What we know so far and could change as he gets more comfortable: - Loves his crate! It is his safe place and a crate will need to be in his next home - He loves other dogs to play with, cuddle with and shares his water bowl like a gentleman. - Doing well with leash training - helps having another confident dog otherwise he gets scared easily - Sleeps through the night in his crate and when you leave the house, he is very quiet - So far no accidents inside - Loves human affection - Has already learned toys are fun! Check out posofosterfamily instagram to see videos of him and more of his personality Comes with 2 free dog training sessions and fully vetted

Story
This sweet, beautiful girl is Ogallala but everyone calls her Olga. She came to Soul Dog in 2021 fearful and feral. Over the past year in her current foster home, she has gradually blossomed from spending all her time cowering in the corner to spending most of her time lying relaxed in the corner. Olga is very fearful, but also very sweet and gentle. Her instinct is to get away, avoid detection, and be left alone. For the first several months in her current foster home, Olga hid in her selected corner and only snuck around at night to eat. She is not housebroken and has selected a spot in the house where she feels safe going potty. After several months in the house, she started to feel comfortable enough to look out the windows, and then even venture outside onto the balcony. As she has gotten comfortable and gained confidence, she has begun to show affection, as well as a bit of a playful, rambunctious side. She will occasionally join the family on the sofa and will even solicit attention once in a while. She hit a big milestone a couple months ago when she started barking at people from the window and balcony instead of hiding from them. (We are now working on stopping that behavior.) Although she has gained a lot of confidence, Olga still has a lot of fears and triggers. She is terrified of people and loud sounds, and anything that sounds like banging. The sounds of roofers or even kids playing basketball will send her running. She is a master escape artist and bolts when she gets scared, so you will need to be careful and vigilant and have a solid fence. She will go to her next home with a GPS collar just in case. She has come a long way over the past year with her foster and is starting to learn that some people and places aren't so bad. She needs a kind and understanding person to give her the patience, quiet, time, and love that she desperately needs.

Story
Tulip is going to be an amazing family dog! She is a gentle girl whose breeds deceive the incredibly mellow disposition that she actually has. Little Tulip came down with us and was quite shy. She got over that at the foster home, and now loves to play with the other dogs in the house and enjoys getting pets, though she is still a bit shy outside of the home. She is going to be a snuggler who follows your every command and loves you every day. She is gentle and goofy and is crate trained and house trained. We are working on her walking on a leash, but for now she feels most comfortable simply in the back yard. Tulip enjoys children almost more than anything; in fact, children are one thing that gets her tail wagging quickly, and feeling safe in a home. She does play and run, and is fine letting other dogs know when she wants the toy or is done playing, and then just chills out and is thrilled getting loved in a home. As she has been growing, she is getting long and lean, as seen in her new pics. She would love to be your partner and sleep on your feet all day long after a walk or excursion!

Story
Thelma is sweet girl who loves to snuggle with her humans. She is happy to be in your arms or lap whenever possible, and has petite bone structure, so we do not think she is going to be too large. She always makes you laugh and is energetic so will enjoy lots of playtime. She plays with all of her toys and her sister. More than anything, she loves to be the center of attention and gets jealous when her sister is in your lap instead of her. She can be a little timid with new experiences, especially with other dogs, but warms up quickly and adores being the center of attention. Thelma has proven herself to be house broken and loves people and other dogs once she knows the dogs are friendly. She is extremely food motivated, so training has been easy, and she knows sit and paw and is learning lie down. Thelma sleeps through the night in her crate and is happy to be near her foster parents when she sleeps. Learning new things is very exciting to her, including how to walk on a leash, and she is doing wonderfully on a leash now! She would be a spectacular addition to a loving home.

Story
Who's ready for the perfect companion dog? Mabel is a friendly and enjoyable girl who loves her people but also likes to play and adventure. She has been well socialized and enjoys people and other dogs. She is now completely comfortable living in a house, being on a couch, and snuggling in for a movie. She plays with the other dog in the house and has come into her own and shows her "Aussie" silliness often, with zoomies and goofiness. She still loves being outside and going for runs and being with her people. She is house trained and likes to follow her people around the house. Mabel smiles often and relaxes sleeping by your feet while you work or read. Mabel is intelligent, social, and loving and wants to do everything with her energy and her mind. She did fabulously at the adoption events and wanted to meet everyone and every dog. She is so friendly and outgoing! Mabel has good recall and comes back excitedly when called. She is going to be an incredible companion while hiking and camping, or going for runs! She is excited to meet everyone, but really wants to meet her forever!
