Ella is an almost 3 years old border collie/shih tzu mix. She is around 45 pounds. Unfortunately, her owners are not able to give her and her sister Remy the time that they need. Ella is a loving and sweet girl. She is shy when first meeting new people and would either do best being adopted with her sister or with a family that has another confident dog. Ella is an energetic dog and will need an active family. She does good with children but has knocked over their young kids out of excitement, so for the safety of children we think she would do best with older kids. Unfortunately, her owners do not have the time for her and her sister Ella anymore and know that they deserve better. Remy is an energetic and active dog. She has the silly and goofy personality of the border collie. She is a very smart dog and she is looking for a home that will take advantage of her intelligence. Ella never meets a stranger. She is a very friendly dog and loves everyone. Her favorite things to do include playing fetch, going for walks and being the center of attention. She would do best in a home with her sister or with another active and playful dog. She currently lives with 2 young children and does good with them but has accidently knocked them over so we are suggesting older children for her.
