You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .           Ember is a sweet tiny little girl that now weighs 4 lbs 8 oz at 9 weeks old. She is very sweet and wants to cuddle with her people. She loves to be held but she is also a sweet but spunky little girl that is very playful and happy. She is great with other dogs, cats, kids and people of all ages. We know that she is a mixed breed and the mother is a small breed so she can grow to be anywhere from 20-30 pounds when full grown.   Adoption fee is $325 non-refundable,  and with all unaltered pups due to age restrictions, there will be a $75 reimbursement fee that will be sent to the vet of your choice once an appointment is made. There is a mandatory spay/neuter clause in the adoption agreement.  Ember will be ready to go to her forever home Dec 18, 2024 after she has had her third round of DA2PPv vaccine.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   December 16, 2024, 12:49 pm

Story
Meet Edgar, a 1-year-old mix of Border Collie and Australian Kelpie tipping the scales at 23 pounds. He wears a medium coat of black and tan which he loves having stroked. And his eyes are quite unique; one is brown while the other (the left) is half brown and half blue! Beautiful eyes with excellent vision in both! His sweet, friendly nature is only outshone by his playful, goofy spirit that lights up any room! But don't let his playful side fool you. Edgar is equally content curled up for a quiet evening at home. He's a wonderful blend of fun and affection, always ready to make you smile or lend a comforting paw. Edgar's not just looking for a home, he's looking for a family to share his boundless love and joy! Adopt Edgar and let his playful spirit and sweet nature fill your home with laughter and love. (ME, 12/13/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.December 15, 2024, 5:32 pm

Story
Hello everyone! My name is Scout and I am an incredibly affectionate, curious, friendly, and playful young pup. I am an all-around great dog and I love to give kisses. I am very energetic and love to play, so I would be perfect for an active family or someone who is willing to take me on long walks and adventures. I'm very curious about the world around me and love to explore new places and smells. I'm also very smart, so I'm sure I'll be able to learn any new tricks you have up your sleeve. I'm not sure how I feel about other dogs, so I would prefer to be the only furry friend in the household. I am a very friendly dog who is eager to meet you, so come by and say hello!

Story
Cucumber is a fun loving companion looking for a partner on her newest adventure! She is a very intelligent and loving Border Collie. Unfortunately we are both older and have health issues that are preventing her from having a fulfilling life. Cucumber would do best with an active human. Someone to play with. Someone to go on long walks or run with. She would also make a great companion for a kiddo who needs a best friend for life!
