LOWER FEE! $250.00 COVERS ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT ! This is Walker, a Border Collie mix. He's between 3 and 4 years old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds. If you look closely at him, you'll see his heart in his eyes. That's because he is a true lover and an old soul, despite his young age. Walker wears a medium length, white and black coat which suits him well. In addition to his good looks, he is also a dog with a great temperament; he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster's cat. Walker would be a fine family dog. (posted 3/21/24, TN)(updated 11/10/24) LOWER FEE! $250: COVERS BOTH TRANSPORT AND ADOPTION. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 4:09 pm

Story
Meet sisters Boo and Bop! They are 1 year old Collie and Beagle mixes. Boo wears a medium-length black and white coat with tan on her face and back legs. Bop sports a medium length white and tan coat. Boo has reached her mature weight of 31 pounds and Bop has reached her mature weight of 45 pounds. Boo can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up her radiating personality will show! Bop is a very calm and relaxed dog that loves to lay around and nap, while Boo is full of energy and loves to run around. They both do really well on a leash, and they get along wonderfully with other dogs. When they get excited, Boo does a little whine and Bop snorts like a pig. They are both very sweet and loving dogs and deserve a great home. Adopt one (or both!) of these sisters and let them fill your life with love and laughter! Story
Hi I'm Bunny! I'm sweet as sugar and have a gentle disposition. I have a bit of a limp from an old injury, but that doesn't slow me down, I just love going for walks and being with people! On top of all that, I have a strikingly beautiful white speckle in my dark coat - that makes me a real eye catcher!! I was lucky enough to go on a sleep-over at the home of an Ark volunteer, and got to show off what great house manners I have! I showed them that I ride great in a car, that I know how to use a dog-door and even better, I know when to use it! I'm clean and tidy in the house and just love cuddling, especially on the sofa and bed ! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, the most guesses were that I'm a Border Collie / Retriever mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.src='https://tracker.rescuegroups.org/pet?20813629&a=18608&h=' width='0' height='0' alt='' />September 7, 2024, 10:05 am
