This cat is between 2 and 3 years old. She’s very sweet and playful. She was abandoned by her former owners. She was loved by a young kid, but unfortunately that child has moved into a household with cat severe allergies and the cat cannot come too. The adults involved are unreachable and the lease on the cat’s house is up at the end of October.

Story
Sophie is a gentle old gal who loves to curl up in the sun and sleep. She is about 14 years old and beginning to get arthritis in her back legs. She does not do well with dogs and MUST be in a single cat household. She used to be indoor/outdoor but was declawed so she must be strictly indoors. Sophie’s previous owner unexpectedly passed away two years ago and she has been living with a larger cat who will not accept her into her space. Despite all efforts to alleviate stress she will over groom herself bald and urinate on furniture when she is scared. She needs someone who is able to give her their full attention into her golden years. She loves to drink from the faucet and be on top of furniture. A cat tree is a must. Previous owner would like to receive updates once adopted. She is very near and dear to our hearts and all efforts have been made not to rehome. This is best for Sophie’s health. Both mental and physical.
