Born: April 19, 2022 I am 46lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $350 Meet Jerry! This sweet and loving Treeing Walker Coonhound is house-trained and ready to find his forever home. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s a happy and affectionate boy! When he’s not gazing out the window or playing with the kids, Jerry enjoys relaxing on the couch and having fun with his favorite toys. Jerry can be a vocal pup, so consistency and routine are key to his training. His sweet personality shines through when he interacts with the staff at Animal House Shelter, showing just how loyal and affectionate he is. He gets along well with other dogs and does best with respectful children aged 8 and older. Jerry’s brother, Tom, has already found his forever home, and now it’s his turn to experience endless love. With patience and dedication, Jerry will become the best furry friend you could ask for, rewarding you with love, companionship, and plenty of adventure! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
