Story
"Hi, I'm Ollie the Bluetick Coonhound!"
Sorry, am I yelling? It's hard to tell sometimes but don't worry, it's only because we just met, or because you're a rabbit. You're not a rabbit are you? Anyways, what were we talking about? Oh yes, it's been more than five minutes so I love you now and I'd really like to get to know you. I came from Tennessee a few years ago and am looking for a forever home with space to run, cozy furniture and sturdy humans that are ready to give me lots of structure. I can't remember how I got here, but boy is it an exciting place to live!
What better way to do that than snuggling on the couch watching TV, or showing off how good I am at playing with my toys. Maybe belly rubs? Those are my fav. People say that everything I do looks hilarious and that I'm a little clumsy... Whatever that means... I just like to get where I need to be in as straight a line as possible whether that's to sit, or lay down, or go lay down. If I get prizes, I can also stop, stay, shake and "look". I know, I know but please hold your applause until I've stepped on your toes or headbutted a table.
When I'm on walks, I'm on the clock so get ready to watch me find things to smell or squirrels to spot, but it's best to keep me away from tough looking dogs because I won't let them win any barking contests. People seem neat though but it's best if you say hi to them first so I get the right impression. Wait, is it night time? People are all pretty spooky at night time, but I'm working really hard on managing my protectiveness.
I'd love to work even harder on my training and snuggling skills with you since we've already hit it off so well and in return, you can scratch behind my ears, use my belly as a drum and let me have a bit of that sandwich eh? Love you already!
