Dreamy is an 11-month-old sweetheart who may be a Black Mouth Cur/Heeler mix or possibly a Lab mix. This playful, wiggly girl is full of joyful energy and lives for fun—especially tug-of-war, chasing balls, and romping around with floppy toys. Chances are, if you see Dreamy, she’ll have a toy proudly carried in her mouth and a big smile on her face. Dreamy loves to run and play and truly shines when she’s active. She enjoys playing with her foster siblings and is very social, though she can sometimes try to assert herself with other dogs. The good news? She’s easy to redirect and responds well to guidance, making her a great candidate for continued training. This smart girl is house-trained, crate trained, comfortable riding in the car, and does decently on leash. Dreamy would do best in a home with older children, or younger children with supervision, where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and positive engagement. Story
Alana is a happy, affectionate girl who’s always ready to give sweet kisses and happily roll over for a belly rub. With her beautiful, soft brindle coat and loving personality, she’s sure to turn heads—and melt hearts—wherever she goes. Alana is currently being fostered with senior dogs and does a wonderful job respecting their boundaries when they’re not in the mood to play. She sleeps quietly in a crate by the bed through the night without a peep and doesn’t need nighttime potty breaks—what a good girl! While she’s still learning that the puppy pen and being crated while her humans are away aren’t so bad, she does eventually settle down. Alana is very food-motivated and already working on her “sit” command, making her a great candidate for continued training. This energetic girl will thrive with regular walks and adventures once she’s able to explore public spaces. For now, she loves zooming around the yard and soaking up the sunshine while lounging on the deck. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with a gentle heart and lots of potential, Alana may be the perfect addition to your family. She’s ready to meet you and steal your heart! This pup was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. They will be available to meet starting 12/13! Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. This is Gemini. Gemini is 6 years old and the sweetest boy in the world. Gemini has been around kids his whole life and is such a good family dog. He recently has started having issues with our older dog, and we can’t risk it. He loves our other two dogs - so I think he would be fine going to a home with dogs, as long as they meet. Gemini is very active but also loves to just relax. He is fully house trained. He loves sleeping in with his owners at night and really would make the perfect family so lucky.
