Story
🐾 Hello! I’m Sugar! 🐾
I’m a 3-year-old male Malinois mix with a sleek black coat. Weighing in at 35 kg, I’m a big, cool, and smart pup looking for my forever home! 🐶
My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I stayed in a foster home for a year, where I was friendly and had a good relationship with my foster mom. 🏡
My Personality:
• I’m quite shy around strangers, but give me 3 days to a week, and I’ll become friendly. 🤗
• I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕
• I’m generally friendly towards dogs my size or smaller. 🐾
• I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱
• I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳
have plenty of walking experience and follow people well without pulling on the leash. 🚶‍♂️
• I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs. 🥣
• I’m a quiet boy and hardly ever bark. 🐾
• I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
• I generally only do my business outside. 🚽
Important to Know:
• It takes time for me to build a relationship with strangers, usually 1 to 2 weeks. 🕒
• I’m not food-motivated and don’t take snacks from strangers. 🍪
• I might seem unmannered or too aggressive with other dogs because I think I’m a small dog and try to play with them. 🐶
• Other dogs might be intimidated by my behavior because of my size. 🐕
Fun Fact: I’m very cool and smart, showing all the characteristics of a Malinois.🦴
If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and affectionate companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make some wonderful memories together. 🏡❤️
Love, Sugar 🐾🖤

Story
🐶 Quick Facts 🐾 • Name: Gongtan • Age: 1 year old • Gender: Male • Neutered: Yes • Breed: Malinois mix • Colour: Black (99%)/white (1%) • Weight: 23kg 🐕 Me and Humans👨🏻 Ain’t no German Shepherd, ain’t no Jindo. I am Gongtan, one year old Malinois mix boy, weighing 23kg. I am covered with 99% sleek black coat. I am an energetic and social boy, always welcoming hoomans and furry friends. Whether they are strangers or my friends, I politely greet everybody and allow them to rub and pet my back. Holding me under by belly is also possible. Not just grown ups, but I get along very well with kids under 13 years 👶🏻 old. They are soooo fun to play with! But I know I should not jump on strangers, seniors, kids, or hoomans that fear me. Instead, if hoomans want to give me a hug, I will gently rely myself on them. It is going to feel like I am melting on you! 🐕With Dogs and Cats🐕 Just like my hooman friends, I also approach to my furry friends because I want to play with them. Some furry friends not necessarily want to play with me and if that is the case, I do not bother them. Personal space matters!!! I consider cats🐱 as my friends too. I have lived with a cat named Rectol for months and we were very good friends! Just like how I would hang around with my own kind, when Rectol did not feel like playing with me, I did not bother him at all. Sometimes when Rectol punched my face 😾 (whether it was an accident or not…?), I did not take it personally because he was my friend haha. We always slept in the same bed and had no issue at all. During walks, I have seen other cats and of course I took a quick glance, but I did not go crazy or anything. 🔋 Energy & Activities & Walks🚶‍♀️ In terms of my energy level, I am very active! It must be my Malinois gene where I need to do a lot of outdoor adventures to stay calm at home. I usually visit doggie gym twice a week where I can run freely all day and often visit dog cafes to meet new friends. As long as I get my daily exercise, I can stay calm but if not, I might bite things like plushies, electrical plugs, papers, etc. So, in case you cannot take me outside, just remember to provide me with toys that I can play and bite. Did you know that I love walking 🚶‍♀️? I might pull on the leash a bit, but I will be under your control and guidance! I have experience walking with several volunteers and strangers and I got a lot of compliments! My current foster pawrent unfortunately had a car accident not too long ago and is unable to walk or guide my other friends, but I have no problem with my pawrent as I know how to control myself under circumstances. ❤️Car Rides & Crate❤️ Since I was a very little puppy, I was crate-trained but I cannot exactly tell you if I am still good inside crates because I eventually got too big and had no chance to get inside one for a long time. I will probably need to get tested again but I was good before! Cars? 🚙 Oh man… I used to throw up 🤢 before during my car ride (especially when I ate before the ride) but it has gone much better. I can now eat during my car ride and know how to get inside the car by myself. 🚽 Guarding & Potty Break & Barking🐾 I usually do not guard my food against my hoomans but sometimes my furry friends try to eat my food while I am eating. In this case, I would bark once to back off. I normally do not bark but I might bark when there is a stranger approaching my home (my pawrent called him a delivery man. I have no idea what that means.. but they always came, left boxes, and left right away without saying hi to me!!!!). Although I can do my business 💩 inside and outside, I prefer to do it outside 🚽. For some reason I do not feel very comfortable doing my business while I am on the leash (do not ask me why because I have no idea why either) but I can easily do it while I am running or walking freely without my leash. Although I am a boy, I do not lift my leg while I pee 🟨 and of course, I never mark around. Did you know that I sometimes experience indigestion when I am exposed to a new environment or to new food/treats🍪? You will have an idea when my stool seems to be a bit liquidy🌊. If this ever happens, there is no need to worry about it. Just give me some probiotics as it could help. 💌Last Message 💕 I am currently living with my foster pawrent, as well as four (4) other furry friends and one (1) cat. I get along with everyone very well and have no issue at all. My pawrent usually put my kibbles in my bowl and I eat whenever I feel like eating. I love tug-of-war, and playing with plushies and balls, but I love my hoomans WAY MORE! I am a very smart boy who can live in both cities and villages. When hoomans recall, I know I must go back to them. My ideal forever home would be a place where I could actively play with my pawrents. If there is another energetic furry friend already, that would be pawsome!!! If you are looking for a clever furry companion that could actively go on hiking and lots of outdoor adventures, I will be the perfect one for you! Contact my team for more information!!!! 💕😊 📺 For more videos📺 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8XFFNvWfsg&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jz083kTM-NT6yZaiUiq-t4J

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Adoptable Junnie! Junnie is a 3 1/2-year-old, Malinois mix who is looking for his forever home! He has been waiting for a foster or forever home with is almost 3 years 😔 and would love his happy ending to come soon! Junnie is a happy and sweet boy and loves to play and be active! He will require a very active family that has experience with working breeds. He would make a great running/ hiking partner and LOVES to play fetch. He needs to be mentally and physically stimulated so he would also do great with agility, games and nose work. Junnie is still learning how to socialize with other dogs and can be reactive and mouthy, as Malinois are, with other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home but with training and support could be fine around other dogs out and about. He will require a home with a fenced yard, no apartments. Junnie is not tested with kids but since he still needs to catch up on training and can be jumpy, he would be best in a home with older kids or adults. No cats. Junnie is on the wait list to be neutered and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Animal Profile: Buttercup is a 3-year-old, 55 lb spayed female "Texas Brown Dog" who joined us from Texas on 7/15/22 as an unsure adolescent. We have worked diligently with her in training to improve her confidence so she can be successful in her forever home. Foster Update: This energetic girl will do anything for a treat and very much wants to please her humans. She is building confidence; however, her anxious energy translates to reactivity at times. Off-leash she greets humans with excitement or indifference both in the house and the yard. She is doing well with the three large resident male dogs in the house after structured integration. She can play all day and has benefited from dog companions who can gently correct and/or join in her exuberance, as well as lead her in confident appropriate behaviors. She is potty trained and crate trained and often goes into her crate on her own to relax. She has demonstrated some significant prey drive toward the neighbors cat, so we think this girl will be best in a cat free home. While in foster care, Buttercup has received training from Bulletproof Balanced Training; her adopter will receive a private take-home training session. This girl is destined to be a wonderful loving member of her forever pack. Adopter Profile: Adult-only household Large breed experience preferred Secure fenced yard preferred Other dogs preferred (not required) Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test for dogs 6 months and older, and microchip. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  December 6, 2024, 11:33 am

Story
Animal Profile: Axel is a 2 year old husky/mal mix that was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to provide a consistent living situation for him. Axel has been well cared for, and completed a board and train with On The Mark Balanced Training. He’s social with other dogs, quite goofy in fact, and although he can be shy meeting new people he does warm up quickly and makes friends fast. Despite his breed mix, he’s not a crazy high-energy dude, but he definitely enjoys a long walk, playing in the yard, or other adventures if you’re up for them! Foster notes: Axel is a quiet loving guy who needs some consistency or routine in his life. He doesn’t ask much and is otherwise generally easy-going but becomes anxious when life feels unpredictable. Who else can relate to Axel? Axel comes with full Ecollar training from on the Mark balanced training. Rachel will go over how to use the tools, his known commands and will set you up for success as a new team. Axel is friendly with strangers but does not like to be ambushed. He warms up quickly when the guest does not force their love on him. Axel enjoys frolicking with his friends, sniffing on adventures and relaxing on his place cot while you work. Axel is crate trained, house trained and walks very nicely on leash.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test, health certificate, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  December 5, 2024, 5:23 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Looking for a partner in crime? Meet Felon! He's around 18 months old and 55lb neutered male Belgian Malinois who is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon is loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but would likely do best in a cat-free home, or with a handler comfortable managing safe interactions with cats. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Adopter Profile: Large breed dog experience required Working breed dog experience preferred Other dogs OK Dog savvy cats considered Secure fenced yard preferred Interest in training/dog sports  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Animal History: Felon was rescued from a chain in Baton Rouge Louisana by Trample Dog Rescue and taken in by The Good Dog, who relocated to Bellingham. He is currently being fostered by The Good Dog Way in Bellingham and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. Potential adopters will need to be available to meet Felon in Bellingham, WA.December 14, 2024, 6:33 pm

Hi! My name is Pawparazzi and I am available for adoption.I weigh 61 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Actually, my breed is known for being very smart and needing a lot of stimulation. I would love for someone who wouldn`t mind doing training and fun tasks with me.I have met with a few dogs here at the shelter, and I need a friend who is going to show me how to be calm. I did really well with my new friend Buddy (A639798), but he has a lot of patience for me and all my energy. Someone with a steady personality who likes to let loose every once and awhile, but won`t let me get too worked up.When meeting with new dogs, I need a slow meeting with a lot of supervision. I don`t know about doggy-manners yet, so having someone around to show me how to behave is very helpful.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my good behaviors, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas, available for out of state adoptions via rescue transportation. Video meet and greet available prior to commitment* This dog is a collaborative effort between Moka's Mission and Houston Chow Chow Connection. Mocha is a fluffy mixed pup just eager to find her new lease in life. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just moments before being euthanized. She is believed to be around 4 years old, and based on behaviors definitely has GSD, Chow Chow, and even possibly husky mixed in her as well. Current weight around 65, 70 lbs. Mocha is a smiling, eager to please, extremely intelligent pup who clearly has been desperate for reaching a potential that was never offered to her prior. She loves to play with toys now, ( was unfamiliar with on arrival) and can be quirky, and vocal during her playful bouts. A game of tug which result in some head pats is her favorite. She also is very smart, and when given attention and motivation is quick to learn. She already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, kennel, wait, settle, and leave it. She is extremely versatile and once she trusts you, will give you her best. If you want to go hiking or exercise, she is all about it. If you want a pup to relax in the home and enjoy a movie day, she is ready! She loves to curl up on the couch or at your feet when it's time to settle down, but when it's time to go she is the first one to be there and ready for you. She also loves to keep you company while you do the most menial house chore's such as laundry or dishes. Mocha clearly was kept away from other dogs and animals when she was owned previously, so we do think she'd be best as an only pup. Proper continued socialization training would be required in order for her to eventually be able to share space with other dogs, but she would need to be socialized as an only dog first before considering adding another in. She clearly has a desire to want to know other dogs and can walk by them and flirt while on leash just fine during walks. However, she hasn't had enough time and proper playmates to engage in playtime at present without being rough. Unfortunately, she is not ok with cats, which is to be expected of the breeds she possesses. Mocha is fully vetted meaning she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on monthly prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. Her adoption fee and transport is dependent on services used. For more information on Mocha, please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com, or to apply for adoption please fill out an application here: https://form.jotform.com/41173109602142

Meet Karl…our social butterfly, he loves everyone he meets. He gets along with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. His best friend is an 8 year old girl, so older children would be great. He loves his toys, you can never have enough toys! He is crate trained but prefers to always be with his family. He is learning to walk on a leash and will need a little reinforcement in that area. Karl is always up for an adventure or a cuddle on the couch. If you think Karl would be a perfect fit for your family please complete our adoption application. houstonk911rescue.org/adopt Karl is located in Houston, Texas.
