Oakley is super smart & energetic. He's also only 1yr so still learning manners and can get mouthy/jumpy when excited/anxious. He does well in training, vets, & groomers. Loves fetch, dog park, squeaky toys, & car rides. Good walker & doesn't chase things. Only barks when there's a reason. Does well with other dogs; indirectly around chickens, horses, cats & did well. We got him from the shelter in late Oct & were told he was a stray. My 15 y/o son has ASD and had a meltdown which resulted in Oaks becoming overly protective of mom. He hasn't mean bit, but will bark, get between us, and become overly activated when we're both home. Its created an anxious environment for both of them that isn't fair to anyone. He needs an active family who is willing to continue training so he can reach his max potential. He needs a large yard to run free &/or exercised at least twice a day or he'll get bored. He's going to be an amazing dog with some patience and less anxiety.

Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon is loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but would likely do best in a cat-free home, or with a handler comfortable managing safe interactions with cats. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership. MEET SWEET FREYA.... Freya was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, she was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. She loves other dogs and is very playful, and she's a sweetheart with people. Freya is also a bit shy but will blossom once she knows you. She is likely a Belgian Malinois-shepherd cross. We adopted Joker 6 months ago from a friend of a friend who couldn’t keep him and was going to take him to a shelter. I believe we are his third home over his 2 years. Joker loves to keep busy and responds well to his training. Unfortunately the majority of the family needs a dog that doesn’t require as much effort. He is well suited as a family dog but does demonstrate traits associated with his breed. He has a lot to say and really wants to be with and please his people. He would play ball with you all day long if you’d let him and gets the zoomies in the backyard. He is food and toy driven which has made training go much smoother. We have been using positive reinforcement training and he is crate trained, understands “it’s your choice”, sits, lays down and is working on loose leash walking and heeling. He is a great dog that would be a good addition to any family that understands his breed and drive. A first time owner that is committed to the training could be a good fit.
