Cliff is a gorgeous Malinois who is sweet, friendly with everyone, and loves being with his people. Like most Malinois, Cliff is a high energy dog who likes having a job and routine. He needs a minimum of 1-2 hours of exercise per day, and plenty of mental stimulation as well. Cliff is very toy motivated and loves to play fetch and tug. He is always outgoing with people and does great with other dogs. He is 100% house trained and does awesome on leash, too. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:5Baobao – Gentle, Graceful, and Quietly Affectionate Baobao is a female Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix, just over 1 year old and about 56 pounds. She has a mellow, thoughtful nature and great leash manners, making her a lovely walking companion. Wonderful on leash: Baobao walks with only very mild pulling, staying calm and relaxed even when other dogs pass by. Quietly affectionate: She may seem a little independent initially, but would increase her friendly “drive-by” greetings as she gets to know you. Polite learner: Baobao takes treats gently and responds to “sit.” With people she trusts, she’ll even sweetly offer her “paw.” Curious explorer: She enjoys sniffing and calmly exploring her surroundings. Dog social: Baobao plays nicely in doggie playgroup and enjoys a friendly game of chase with other dogs. He’s an energetic, curious pup who loves learning new things and being part of the action. In his foster home, Bento has been a great little student. He sleeps well in his crate at night, is working on potty training, and already knows sit, down, and spin. He loves toys, enjoys chewing on appropriate items, and is even starting to learn fetch. Bento is very social with other dogs and currently lives with four adult dogs. He especially enjoys playing with medium- to high-energy dog friends and has done great at puppy socials, though he can be a bit much for shy ones. True to his breed, Bento will thrive with an active adopter ready to provide training, enrichment, and adventure as he grows into a loyal, fun-loving companion. He’s fully potty trained, relaxed, and happy to entertain himself with toys or settle in beside you once he’s had his fun. A little timid at first, she has a sweet, good-natured personality and is gradually gaining confidence as she gets comfortable with people and her surroundings. Wonderful leash manners: Wallflower walks well on leash with virtually no tension, happily staying beside you and checking in every few steps. Polite though occasionally awkward: She takes treats gently but sometimes a bit awkwardly, positioning her mouth over your hand. Quietly affectionate: While she may start out reserved, she enjoys gentle pets and will extend her neck and lean in when she would like a little more attention. Calm around other dogs: Wallflower may show interest in nearby dogs but remains calm and non-reactive.
