Beautiful 2-year-old Belgian Malinois to a very good home. Please note Freya is extremely smart loving and playful but can be aggressive toward other dogs and strangers. Has several commands that she flows to the letter. She will definitely bond slowly. You can't have other pets in the house or children. Let me know if interested. Adoption Fee: $100.00 Sasha is a female Belgian Malinois that is approximately 10 years old. She came to us when her elderly owner passed away. She was an outdoor only dog for the last half of her life. Everything inside her foster’s home was new to her. She has very quickly learned about the creature comforts of being indoors, surrounded by people, and what treats are. Sasha sleeps in a crate at night, and has learned to use the doggie door to go outside and is housebroken. She is fostered in a home with two other female dogs, and does well with them. There are also grandchildren who regularly visit and she does well with them. She loves to give hugs to everyone. She knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and she is working on wait/stay. Sasha is looking for a home who will help her explore the new world and continue training. No cats or small critters. Level 2 As a senior, Sasha's adoption fee is sponsored through 12/31/24. We initially got Laika as a foster, but she was so wonderful we ended up adopting her after her spay. We have two cats in the house and we were hopeful that if we continued slow introductions they might end up getting along. Unfortunately, even after working with a trainer and a behavioralist Laika is too fixated on chasing cats to live safely in a house with them. She also has some reactivity to other dogs and unfamiliar men but has done great with visitors in the house. This is something she will need continued work on. She did live with another dog in the shelter so may do okay with the right dog sibling. Laika is a fantastic dog and we would not have put so much time into trying to make things work otherwise. She is house broken and we are able to leave her loose while at work. She is loving, whip-smart (with a repertoire of 10 commands so far), and very eager to please. She is relaxed for a Malinois but would still do best with an active family and a fenced yard.

Starla went on a doggie day out adventure on 11/30, here is what her volunteer had to say: `Starla is the SWEETEST dog ever. She walk well on a leash -no pulling.She met a few people and she loved everyone.We saw some dogs she wanted to be friends with everyone.She saw some geese and squirrels with no reaction, just curious.When I gave her treats she took them out of my hand so gently.She is great in the car.She was pure delight. We went for a walk near the river.We went to In and Out burger for lunch and walked through the park so people could meet her. Sweetest dog ever!! I can`t say one negative thing about her!!!!!

Story

Fyn is a 5 year old black German Shepherd. We adopted him from the SPCA when he was 3 months old. The SPCA found him wandering outside without a home or collar. Fyn has been a great dog for our family (husband, wife, 7 y/o son, 4 y/o daughter). He loves our family so much and we love him. He will always be by your side, is always willing to play, and loves outdoor adventures (especially with water or snow!). He is a protective dog. Which is why we are looking to rehome him. Fyn loves all of our friends and family and wildly wags his very long tail whenever friends and family come over. However, he is very protective of the wife and kids of our family. When the husband is around, this is less of an issue. Fyn has had a few instances of aggression toward other dogs when the husband was not around. One of the times led to a hospital visit for the other (small) dog. He has given warning signs of aggression and nips to humans but has never injured a human.
