Story

Nyla is a 1 year old Belgian Mal, and she is also the sweetest and most loving girl in the world. We found her as a stray and while we have absolutely loved having her with us, I can only hope she goes to a home with an experienced trainer. She also recently had a litter off 11 pups (was not planned) and is recovering very well, she already has all of her energy back. As much as we love her, our schedules make it very hard to give her the proper time and attention that her breed requires. She is such a wonderful and fun dog, but we do not have any experience with her breed. Despite this, she has been the best companion and friend to us. If you think you’d be the perfect match for this special girl, please let us know!

Flower does best as an outdoor/backyard dog with plenty of space to run. Frida is the SWEETEST dog. She loves kids and loves to cuddle and has a bunch of energy but also is great and just chillin and hanging out next to you. She is kennel trained and completely house trained. Shes thin, lean, and on the petite side for the breed and smart as a whip. We checked her DNA and she is full Malinois with a little Dutch Shepherd. Shes been through rigorous dog training and is smart as whip. Once she warms up, she LOVES other dogs who will run and play with her or could be an only dog for someone! We love her and think she deserves the best owner! Wouldn’t recommend house with cats or access to birds / chickens and small animals like these as she can want to chase them.

Meet Bruce 🖤 Bruce is about 66 pounds of stunning Malinois mix goodness, with a heart as big as his smile. His story almost had a heartbreaking ending—but instead, it became exactly the kind of rescue story that reminds us why we do this. Bruce landed at an overcrowded shelter and waited… and waited. Month after month, he was overlooked, despite being a staff favorite. He was friendly, happy-go-lucky, and so sweet—yet somehow, he ended up red-listed, scheduled to lose his life simply because time ran out. Staff shared videos of him bouncing around, completely unaware that the next day was supposed to be his last. We couldn’t let that happen. The Misfit Ranch swooped in just in time, and during Bruce’s freedom walk, shelter staff were in tears—happy tears—knowing this good boy was finally safe. Rescues like this are what it’s all about, and Bruce’s second chance was only possible because a foster family stepped up when it mattered most. Now Bruce is thriving in his foster home with a loving foster mom and dad and a foster sister dog. He does well with other dogs (he may need a minute to warm up) and is friendly with people. He also does great at the dog park, showing off his social skills and enjoying time with canine friends. He’s lived with older kids and would do best in a home with older children or no kids, as tiny humans aren’t really his thing. Bruce is: Crate trained (though he’ll let you know he prefers sleeping in the same room as his people—even if it’s still in a crate!) A total couch snuggler Deeply people-oriented and happiest when he’s near his humans Loyal, affectionate, and incredibly lovable Bruce survived against the odds, and now he’s just waiting for the one thing he’s never had—a forever home.
