Story
Roxy is a stunningly beautiful 14 week old Dutch shepherd/ Belgium malinois mix cutie pie, that weighs 15 pounds of love & sweetness. Roxy is athletic, playful, and loves to run and play with her foster sister, and she is extremely smart, loyal and eager to learn. We encourage our puppy adopters to provide them with stability, structure, consistency, love and puppy training, to set them up for success.  Roxy has a great demeanor and loves everyone she meets and was sweet and affectionate with the children she met at our adoption event.  Roxy is a gem of a puppy that will be a great addition to any playful and loving family wanting to add a gorgeous young female puppy to their loving family.  Roxy has received her puppy wellness exam, comprehensive fecal test and her first round of puppy boosters. She’s packed and ready for adventures with her loving forever family. If you're interested in adopting Roxy, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. Leah IS AVAILALBE (updated 08-23-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Leah, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22329&name=LeahLeah came to us a terrified, shut down, feral dog whom animal control had confiscated from a very bad situation. She was so shut down, it took a long (long!) time to get her to allow any type of interaction with humans. We spent month after month earning her trust, socializing her, and teaching her to overcome her many fears. Around 6 years old now, she moved from the training facility into a foster home and is doing fantastic, but will need a special adopter. At first, she was scared to enter the house, the tile scared her, and it took coaxing for her to enter. Leah now seeks affection, is playing with toys, plays with her human foster, is totally comfortable being inside, crate trained, potty trained, and is learning that the world isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t such a scary place. She went to the beach for the first time and loved it!While she&#39s your normal, energetic Maligator in her foster home, she is still figuring out the world outside of those doors. She spends time every day being exposed to new things, but when she&#39s scared she does try to bolt. She used to hit the end of the leash and frantically chew to break free (which is why she wears a long fur saver), but now, when something new and loud is that scary, she bolts and stops when she hits the end of the leash, even going into a sit. Leah is a jaw snapping, toy playing, chew obsessed Malinois in her home and is going to need someone who understands Mals, who can supply structure, who is patient, and who can slowly build trust with her. Because she&#39s such a flight risk, we are going to be very careful about where we place her, because she means the world to us.The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.September 26, 2024, 12:22 am

They were being given away &#39free to good home&#39 and were rescued by an animal lover who didn&#39t want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups. The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle! If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. This handsome boy has basic obedience down, is crate trained, walks well on a leash and loves being with &#39his&#39 person. He is a little cautious when meeting new people but warms up quickly if he&#39s given the space to get to know you. He has a medium prey drive when it comes to toys, but does well with other dogs, big and small. We are unsure of how he is with cats in a household, but he hasn&#39t shown much interest when he encounters them out and about in town. He loves his daily walks and runs and would be the perfect addition to an active household. He could also make a good candidate for low level sport dog work as he&#39s showing good drive in his training. He will need a secure yard as he can jump upwards of 6â&#194&#128&#194&#153 fences. He&#39s neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Please inquire only if you have experience with Working Dogs and/or the Belgian Malinois breed. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. Story
Rocco is the kindest, most cuddly and handsome German shepherd you’ll ever meet. He gives the best cuddles in the morning and late at night. He will lean in to hugs and kisses and not pull away. He spends a lot of time in his igloo but he loves walks. he is housetrained and neutered. He is 105 pounds of pure love. we thought we could keep him in our condo, but it has ended up not being the best environment for him to grow. He is a healthy, lively, young German shepherd boy, born January 2021. The only thing that he doesn’t like is the vacuum cleaner. He could use recall training. He is somewhat leash trained. He does well with a gentle leader leash brand. We are going to miss Rocco more than we can describe, but we think this is in his best interest..

Story
Po, is an amazing 65-70lb German Shepard mix about 2 years old that doesn’t have one mean bone in his body. He does require a back yard and someone to let him run at the dog park daily (he doesn’t take long to get tapped out, about 30 mins a day), he also gets along with every dog/human we have ever come across with him. We have a 2 year old son who loves to play with him and 2 cats as well. We unfortunately have to rehome him because my wife’s back went out about 4 months after getting him and is now on disability while I work all day. So between her being hurt with a toddler and me being gone, Po isn’t getting the attention/physical activity he needs and she’s unable to take him and our son out at the same time because it inflames her 3 bulging discs. We have never rehomed a dog before so this is very hard on us and want him to be happy/loved and cared for properly. We will keep him with us until his perfect fit comes along. He does need some basic training.
