Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   This precious beagle girl is Zozelle. She is around 4 years old and weighs around 25 lbs. She did have puppies a few months ago and her body is getting back in shape. Zozelle is a bit shy at 1st. It has taken her a few weeks to warm up in her foster home. To people that is. She although made friends with all the dogs immediately. She will need some patience and kindness .She is truly super sweet. Zozelle has done really well with housebreaking and is crate trained. She does not mind the crate. She really isn't a fan of the leash but with some patience she would probably be fine. So a fenced yard is preferred. She was a hunter but is now loving living inside with her furry foster family. Zozelle is starting to play with toys. She honestly for a beagle doesn't bark hardly at all. In fact not sure I have ever heard her bark. Haha but she needs a home not an apt because again she is not great on leash. Zozelle is spayed, utd on shots, wormed, microchipped and negative for lymes . If you are looking for a sweet beagle and especially if you have another beagle and you have the patience to give her to adjust to you. Because she will make fast friends with another fur kid. She will make a great addition. She is just shy at 1st. But once she opens up. We'll, she is just a wonderful girl. She is being fostered in clarksburg, wv You can apply for zozelle at https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   This adorable guy is Abraham. Not Lincoln! He is a beagle mix and does not have a beard. He does have personality and cuteness though. He likes to play with the other dogs his size in his foster home. He also probably wouldn't mind being the king of his castle! Or maybe president! Abraham is approx 27 lbs and is between 1-2 years old. He was super skinny when we first got him. He now seems to be the perfect weight.  This awesome guy is so sweet and loves everyone he meets. He seems to do ok with cats too. He would make a great fit for almost any home. Abraham is crate trained and seems to be housebroke. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard, but that's not a deal breaker for someone willing to work with him on leash.  Abraham is neutered , utd on shots, microchipped, flea treated and wormed.  He is being fostered in Clarksburg WV.  If you want to make Abraham a part of your family click on the following link to fill out an application:  http://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. Story
Gunner has been a great dog and part of our family since he was a puppy. Hes about 8 years old. Between work, 5 kids, costs, and not having the room and space to accommodate him properly at our house, we decided rehoming him to a good, loving home where he can get the love and attention he deserves would be the best thing.

Story
Special Adoption Offer: Half-Off Adoption Fees! In loving memory of her mother, Gail Suter—a true animal lover—one of our wonderful adopters has generously sponsored half of the adoption fees for five of our longest residents. These amazing dogs—Sprite, Chic Pea, Big John, Tank, and Indie—have been waiting patiently for their forever homes, and now it’s their turn to find a family to love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, now is the perfect time to adopt. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to give a deserving dog a second chance.Indie would love to be an adventurer like Indian Jones!  He was found as a stray, thin, and sad.  He is happy at HART getting lots of meals to help put on some weight, but would be happiest in a new home with a family that would love to take him on hikes where he could smell and walk to his heart's content!  We think he's one year old.  He loves to play and we are working on his obedience.  He is housebroken, and he has not had a single accident in his den since he came. Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. To fill out an online application to adopt this pet, cut and paste this link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2627/generic Or you can find a link to our online adoption application on our website at www.hartforanimals.org/adopt - or on our Petfinder homepage.  We process applications in the order they are received, therefore, it could take UP TO 2 weeks for us to respond to your application. Please do not send us an inquiry unless you have specific questions. All our dogs/puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, given flea medication, heartworm tested, and given a microchip before going to their new home. ##2174507##
