Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Introducing Bill.  This handsome guy is looking for a home where he can be king of his castle and get all of the attention.  He is a bit shy when he meets someone new, but it doesn’t take much to win him over.  He currently does get along with the dogs in his foster home but he definitely likes to pick and choose his canine companions.  He is crate trained and seems to be house broken.  He does decent on a leash and would like to be your walking companion.  Bill is up to date on all of his shots, has been neutered, flea treated, received worm medication and tested negative for Lymes.  He is approximately 4 years old and weighs around 30 lbs.  If you are looking for that one and only amazing best friend, click on the following link to fill out an application:  https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/      Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Well, Romeo is ready for his new home. He will absolutely win your heart with his charm. Just remember though, he is a puppy so patience and consistency and a little training will be needed to make him the best dog ever. He does seem to be a quick learner.  This handsome guy weighs around 26 lbs and is approx 8 months old. He is doing pretty well with house training. Romeo loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Especially all his foster beagle brothers and sisters. He would like more than anything to get a home with another beagle. And would also love a fenced yard where he can play for hours, then cuddle up on the couch with his person. Romeo is neutered, utd on shots, flea treated, microchipped and wormed. He sadly did test positive for Lyme, but negative for heart worms. When he was found by a nice gentleman as a stray, he was taken to animal control with over 80 ticks on him. Nothing a little doxycycline can't fix. Romeo would be a great addition for any family. He is being fostered in Clarksburg WV with our beagle foster. Story
Special Adoption Offer: Half-Off Adoption Fees! In loving memory of her mother, Gail Suter—a true animal lover—one of our wonderful adopters has generously sponsored half of the adoption fees for five of our longest residents. These amazing dogs—Sprite, Chic Pea, Big John, Tank, and Indie—have been waiting patiently for their forever homes, and now it’s their turn to find a family to love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, now is the perfect time to adopt. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to give a deserving dog a second chance.Indie would love to be an adventurer like Indian Jones!  He was found as a stray, thin, and sad.  He is happy at HART getting lots of meals to help put on some weight, but would be happiest in a new home with a family that would love to take him on hikes where he could smell and walk to his heart's content!  We think he's one year old.  He loves to play and we are working on his obedience.  He is housebroken, and he has not had a single accident in his den since he came. Terrific Timmy!  He is a 35 lb Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix.  He's very playful.  He just wants to play with other dogs.  He's super friendly with people.  Timmy is a happy boy!  He did well with our test cat, Waylon.  He would be a good playmate for another playful dog!
