Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Introducing Bill.  This handsome guy is looking for a home where he can be king of his castle and get all of the attention.  He is a bit shy when he meets someone new, but it doesn’t take much to win him over.  He currently does get along with the dogs in his foster home but he definitely likes to pick and choose his canine companions.  He is crate trained and seems to be house broken.  He does decent on a leash and would like to be your walking companion.  Bill is up to date on all of his shots, has been neutered, flea treated, received worm medication and tested negative for Lymes.  He is approximately 4 years old and weighs around 30 lbs.  If you are looking for that one and only amazing best friend, click on the following link to fill out an application:  https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/      Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip. For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc. Story
Gunner has been a great dog and part of our family since he was a puppy. Hes about 8 years old. Between work, 5 kids, costs, and not having the room and space to accommodate him properly at our house, we decided rehoming him to a good, loving home where he can get the love and attention he deserves would be the best thing.
