Story
Yellow/Green—Kid by Kid, Dog by DogHeidi is an incredibly sweet girl who is currently feeling a bit stressed. While she hesitated to come out of her kennel, she quickly adapts and walks wonderfully on a leash. Although she may be nervous around unfamiliar people, she handles interactions very well. Heidi prefers to take her time investigating new people and places before fully engaging. Right now, she is still finding her comfort zone and is not quite ready to play with toys, but she shows potential to learn. She does understand basic cues like `sit` and `wait,` and she has successfully redirected to stay off counters. She is calm around various objects and shows no signs of being easily startled. Heidi allows food to be removed while she’s eating and enjoys being petted. She greeted a stranger with appropriate behavior, although she chose not to engage further. She also interacted well with another dog but preferred to keep her distance afterward, indicating that she’s comfortable with the dog`s presence while still needing her space. Overall, Heidi is a sweet girl who will thrive as she becomes more confident in her environment. For more resources to help with any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDTBureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617

Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/17 Bliss is available! Beagle mix. She is a sweet, adorable little baby! She loves people, other dogs, and giving kisses to the cats in her foster home. She's great with kids. She has the typical Beagle nose but doesn't seem to be prey driven. She is eager to please and looks for approval from humans. She has learned sit. She's also a super snuggler! Her mom is a Beagle and we have no idea who dad is. Mom was pregnant when she was rescued, and gave birth soon after. She is about 10-11 weeks old. We think she’ll be bigger than most Beagles, 50ish pounds possibly? Probably Lab sized. Hard to say for sure not knowing who/what dad was. Bliss is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England *Facebook won’t let us post pictures and videos in the same post. I do have videos of her, please message us if you’d like to see them! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 mail apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
