Story
Meet Kai! This sweet 9-year-old boy is ready to find his forever home. At a perfect 30 pounds, hes the ideal size for anyone looking for a companion whos not too big, not too small. Kai was surrendered when his mom moved into assisted living and couldnt take him along, but now hes hoping to find a new family who will love him like he deserves.Kai is extremely loyal and forms strong bonds with his people. His happy, affectionate personality shines when hes with those he trusts. He loves carrying his toys around and proudly showing them off, and when its time to play, his zoomies will definitely bring a smile to your face! Kai takes treats very gently, always polite and appreciative.Hes house-trained and easygoing, but he would do best in a home without children, as they tend to make him nervous. Kai can live with another dog as long as they respect his space and understand he enjoys having some room to himself. Hes more of a laid-back, independent guy, so a calm, low-pressure environment with an adult-only household would be ideal. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy (and maybe even a few zoomies!), Kai could be the perfect fit for you. Come meet this wonderful senior today and give him the second chance he deserves! If you would like to meet Kai, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/17 Bliss is available! Beagle mix. She is a sweet, adorable little baby! She loves people, other dogs, and giving kisses to the cats in her foster home. She's great with kids. She has the typical Beagle nose but doesn't seem to be prey driven. She is eager to please and looks for approval from humans. She has learned sit. She's also a super snuggler! Her mom is a Beagle and we have no idea who dad is. Mom was pregnant when she was rescued, and gave birth soon after. She is about 10-11 weeks old. We think she’ll be bigger than most Beagles, 50ish pounds possibly? Probably Lab sized. Hard to say for sure not knowing who/what dad was. Bliss is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England *Facebook won’t let us post pictures and videos in the same post. I do have videos of her, please message us if you’d like to see them! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 mail apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org
