Story
Meet Boone! Boone is a 38-pound young Beagle/Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable floppy ears. At less than 2 years old, Boone is the perfect combination of playful energy and affectionate charm. He’s social, happy, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with furry companions. Thanks to his foster family, Boone has learned to walk on a leash like a pro and is both house and crate trained. He’s ready to settle into a forever home where he can share his love and playful spirit. Boone’s journey began when he and his companion, Sandy, wandered up to a good Samaritan’s home in search of food and shelter. Now, Boone is ready for the next chapter of his life—a forever home where he can truly thrive as someone’s loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, Boone is the perfect match! Story
Meet Kai! This sweet 9-year-old boy is ready to find his forever home. At a perfect 30 pounds, hes the ideal size for anyone looking for a companion whos not too big, not too small. Kai was surrendered when his mom moved into assisted living and couldnt take him along, but now hes hoping to find a new family who will love him like he deserves.Kai is extremely loyal and forms strong bonds with his people. His happy, affectionate personality shines when hes with those he trusts. He loves carrying his toys around and proudly showing them off, and when its time to play, his zoomies will definitely bring a smile to your face! Kai takes treats very gently, always polite and appreciative.Hes house-trained and easygoing, but he would do best in a home without children, as they tend to make him nervous. Kai can live with another dog as long as they respect his space and understand he enjoys having some room to himself. Hes more of a laid-back, independent guy, so a calm, low-pressure environment with an adult-only household would be ideal. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy (and maybe even a few zoomies!), Kai could be the perfect fit for you. Come meet this wonderful senior today and give him the second chance he deserves! If you would like to meet Kai, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/17 Bliss is available! Beagle mix. She is a sweet, adorable little baby! She loves people, other dogs, and giving kisses to the cats in her foster home. She's great with kids. She has the typical Beagle nose but doesn't seem to be prey driven. She is eager to please and looks for approval from humans. She has learned sit. She's also a super snuggler! Her mom is a Beagle and we have no idea who dad is. Mom was pregnant when she was rescued, and gave birth soon after. She is about 10-11 weeks old. We think she’ll be bigger than most Beagles, 50ish pounds possibly? Probably Lab sized. Hard to say for sure not knowing who/what dad was. Bliss is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England *Facebook won’t let us post pictures and videos in the same post. I do have videos of her, please message us if you’d like to see them! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 mail apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
