Story
Hello, my name is Murray! I’m a 2-year-old red-tick beagle with lots of love to give and I’m on the lookout for my forever family. I’ve lived with lots of other beagles before and I do miss having a furry friend to run around and cuddle with. Ideally, I’d like to be in a home with another dog that matches my energy level, which is playful, but I’m also an expert couch potato. I simply adore humans though, and I especially love sleeping in bed with you. Oh, that gives me such a warm, fuzzy feeling of being safe and loved. I do get anxious when left behind, so being with a family that is home most of the time or can take me along would be perfect. I am a talker and not how you might think. I’m not really into howling (I save that for important things… like when I’m left alone). I’m more into squeaking and although I don’t care for the word… whining (for lack of a better description). I guess you could just say that I’m “vocally expressive.” If I could speak, I would be saying things like “I really want a treat”, or “I’m ready to go for a walk”, or “I’m SO happy to see you”. That’s just who I am! Don’t worry, most of the time, I’m just chillin’ and snoozing. My very best quality is my huge heart that is full of love. So, if you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion, then look no further. Come and meet me today! Murray is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is around 30 lbs. and has been 100% housebroken since day one in his foster home. He should have no problem learning the ropes in his new home.

Story
Melvin is a gentle, shy and friendly dog. He is very affectionate and loves to be around people. Melvin enjoys a lazy day on the couch, as well as a good adventure. He is a curious pup who likes to sniff around and explore. Melvin is a great listener and loves to be petted. He would make a great companion for someone who is looking for a furry friend to share their life with. He is great with other dogs. He has not been around children or cats but based on his temperament older children would be OK with him! He has beautiful coloration and is about 5 years old. He is fully vetted, including a recent dental. He was just introduced to stuffed toys and it has changed his world. He LOVES them! If you're looking for a gorgeous boy to add to your family . . this could be the one!

Story
Brandy is a 6 yr old spayed lady who has had a hard-knock life. She was kept as a breeding beagle in rural Missouri and given up for free on Craig’s List where a caring volunteer swept in to rescue and foster her for us. Brandi is a tiny girl of just under 20lbs who has been a quick learner with potty training, gets along with the foster dogs she bunked with temporarily and enjoys sniffing around in the backyard. Her foster says she is a VERY special girl, so sweet with her younger elementary school-aged children and happy to snuggle into a dog bed, chair, lap - anywhere the loving people are. Brandy is ready for that special loving home where she can feel safe and home at last - forever. Your adoption fee includes spaying, dental, vaccinations and microchip, as well as complete veterinary exam.

Story
Buddy is a handsome Lemon colored beagle or possibly beagle mix about 1.5 yrs old. He is very sweet and so precious. He was quite rambunctious when he arrived, having lived with an elderly owner since he was a pup and was so excited to play with other dogs. He also was kept in his small puppy crate right up until he came to rescue, so he has been enjoying stretching his legs with a fenced yard. He will go into his more appropriate sized crate, but prefers to stay out, and since he is house trained/knows how to use a dog door he doesn’t necessarily have to be crated. He sleeps in the foster’s bedroom on a dog bed with the other foster dog and stays put all night. Buddy has lots of energy and loves to play! He and another foster beagle play together all the time. They tug on toys together, chase each other in the backyard, and like to pull toys out of the toy bins and bring them outside. He would do well with a fur sibling around the same age and energy level. He will benefit from a basic obedience class to improve his leash manners and with consistency and patience he will continue to learn what is expected of a “good boy.” He has learned sit and does it quite happily already! Buddy is relatively quiet. If he wants something he will whimper. If someone comes to the door or walks by the house, he will bark. He has a very strong and robust beagle bay. When people come through the front door, he is hesitant until the other dogs go up to them for pets. Once everyone is settled, he feels more confident and seeks out attention. He really enjoys people and the pets they give. Buddy has not had exposure to children or cats, but his exuberant young-dog personality should be taken into consideration when considering homes with kids/cats. Children over 8 would be best, if children are in the household. Do you have an active dog who would love a new brother for Christmas? Buddy would be grateful to have a home for the holidays.

Story
Hello, my name is Tucson (but you can totally change that if it doesn't suit me!) and I'm a young, sprightly beagle with plenty of love to give and a nose for adventure! Even though I'm just 5-6 months old, I'm already an expert cuddler and love taking naps on the couch. I can be a bit curious and nosey (you know, given my beagle lineage), but I'm also smart as a whip and I'll learn the ropes of being a good girl in no time. I'm friendly to everyone I meet and good with other dogs. If you're looking for a fun-loving, curious, and affectionate pup, then look no further. I can guarantee that I will fill your life with love and laughter, as long as you give me a safe and loving home in return. Let's get to know each other better - come and meet me today! I'm told that I'm an expert at making people smile, so I'm sure that you'll fall in love with me the moment you meet me. I can't wait to start this new chapter in my life and find my new family! Adoption fee includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip, vet exam
