Story
**Fostered in Bellevue, WA and ready for meet and greets!** If you put happy, silly, and enthusiastic into a fun size package- you get Sam Moot. He is a bundle of friendly energy and his playful nature basically scares away any traces of a bad day. He’s a friendly guy who loves people and is eager to please. His love for cuddles and joy for everything life has to offer are going to make him such a fantastic companion! Take a peak at him here then come back to read more about him. https://youtu.be/mSgBrSG5NWU Sam is estimated to be 1 year old and weighs 27lbs. , and is on the larger side of the small dog spectrum. With any rescue breed and age are not details we can offer with a guarantee but we believe Sam is a bit of a puggle, maybe some pug maybe some beagle. Sam has great basic leash skills and is walk ready. He’s generally good on leash, he stays calm and is easy to handle. It is important to understand that Sam is the friendly-type, he wants to greet the world and knows no stranger. Whether he goes to them or they come to him, if you head out of the house together leave a few extra minutes for the greetings and comments about you super cute dog. Sam is great with kids but his eagerness to play would be a bit too much for littles. When we introduced Sam to other dogs we learned quickly- this boy loves to play! He would love a home with a playmate that has a similar zest for bouncy play, his favorite playmate was a female dog that was just slightly bigger than him but just as rough and tumble. He is friendly, greeted new dogs well on and off leash, and when he isn’t running and playing he is happy to just hang out and check in with people for a little love and maybe a treat. Sam’s ideal home is flexible, he absolutely could be an apartment boy thanks to his friendliness, size, and overall quiet nature. If you have a house that is awesome too, more space for zoomies! An ideal dog pairing would be an energetic playful pup. If you are looking to be an one-dog house, this boy s a great candidate! People fill up his love tank and he has the love of at least two dogs to share so you won’t ever go love-starved. As far as cats go, Sam could easily have a feline-friend with just basic guidance. He’s not shy about following a cat around, even after a gentle swat, so a home with a dog-savvy cat that can handle his curiosity would be best. Sam is a quick learner with lots of love to give, and with a bit of polishing he is sure to shine as a loyal, fun-loving family member. If you think Sam might be the perfect fit for you, don’t hesitate to reach out and meet this affectionate little guy! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Hi! I’m Eleanor Roosevelt, but everyone calls me Ellie! I’m looking for my someone special to help me make a new family. I really love having a home with a brother or sister dog and a person (or a few people) to love me and help me feel safe and loved. I used to have that, but something went wrong between my people (divorce) and I’ve had to move around quite a bit lately… I’m not sure what my place is. I have love in my heart and no one to give it to. It makes me anxious. When I’m anxious I bark more than usual. Sometimes that upsets the people. I like playing with toys, sleeping on beds with my people, zooming around a fenced yard with a friendly dog or two, and never being in a crate. Those crates are not for me! Going for rides in the car is fun, and I’m a good girl on the leash. In fact, I really love going on walks! I’m a healthy girl, 6yrs old around 29lbs. My only issue has been an occasional ear that acts up and needs stuff squirted in. I worry when I go to the vet; whine and feel scared, so I usually have medicine to relax a little. I can’t wait to be home with my new family. ** Ellie is a sweet, clever girl who needs a loving, patient home to settle in to and feel secure again. Her world has been unsettled for a while now and when she finds that forever home waiting for her, those people will feel like the lucky ones. Adoption application can be found here: https://www.cascaderescue.org/adoption-application/ For additional information on Ellie, contact Kappy Hodges at kapppy@cascaderescue.org.

Arlo here! I'm a fun-loving, friendly, and athletic pup, and I'm looking for my furever home. I'm a smart boy who learned how to be housebroken when I was young, and I've got my humans wrapped around my paw. I get along great with kitties, other dogs and older kids (over 5) too. I'm an energetic fellow who would love a family that can take me on nice long walks and hikes in the park. If you think you can give me the good life I deserve, fill out an application for me today!

Story
Hello, my name is Murray! I'm a 2-year-old red-tick beagle with lots of love to give and I'm on the lookout for a new home. I've lived with lots of other beagles before and I do miss having a furry friend to run around and cuddle with, so ideally, I'd like to be in a home with another dog. I get along great with humans though, and I'd love sleeping in bed with you. Just know that when my sniffer nose is engaged, I do talk, squeak, whine, and howl at times- that's just who I am! If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and funny dog, then look no further. Come and meet Murray today!

Story
Gracie is an awesome Beagle mix. She weighs about 30lbs but needs to lose a few pounds. Gracie is young, sweet, playful and a quick learner. No cats for Gracie! She wouldn't harm them but she loves to chase them. She is good with other dogs, but she is more dominant and will do best with other dogs who are more submissive or mellow. Gracie would thrive in a situation with someone who works from home because she doesn't like to be alone, unless she has other dogs to be with. Gracie needs a fully fenced yard and ideally an active person who can take her on hikes or runs. She loves to play and do zoomies! To apply for Gracie, please email us at stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com.
