Bella is puppy pad trained so she goes on pads in the house but she always makes messes in her cage no matter what. We have another dog at home but they constantly fight and we have a newborn and 2 other kids and I can't take care of Bella anymore especially with all of the fighting. We were not able to get her shots up to date because of financial things so we are sorry about that....she also seems to have a little bit of separation anxiety when someone leaves the house she barks non stop usually. Free to a good home. She is very loving just needs someone who can give her more attention and time.

Ruby is a 13 year old beagle who spent most of her years as a hunting dog. She lost an eye in an accident 4 years ago but gets around just fine. She is currently in a temporary foster home while she waits for her permanent retirement home. She enjoys the company of other dogs and savors walks outside to track scents like she did in her youth. Elmer is an adorable one-year old male Beagle mix who was brought to the HSOV on January 23, 2025 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who picked him up on State Route 676 in the Vincent Ohio area. Elmer was accompanied by another Beagle mix named Fudd. Neither of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped. Perhaps Elmer and Fudd were on an adventure looking for "that wabbit" (Bugs Bunny)? . Elmer has a black-and-brown short smooth coat with blue ticking on his chest, red/brown ticking on his legs, a long tail, and a beautiful face with expressive brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large extra-long floppy ears. Elmer appears to have possible Blue Heeler or Basset Hound ancestors in his family tree. This young man has a friendly, outgoing personality. Elmer weighs 18 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Elmer will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Fudd was accompanied by a younger Beagle mix named Elmer. Neither of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped. Perhaps Elmer and Fudd were on an adventure looking for "that wabbit" (Bugs Bunny)? Fudd has a white short smooth coat, a long tail, a tan spot on the top of his head, and an adorable face with expressive brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, a slender muzzle, and extra-large tan-and-white floppy ears which frame his beautiful face. Fudd appears to have a cherry eye condition in his right eye. From the looks of his super-sized ears, Fudd may have possible Basset Hound ancestors in his family tree. Fudd seems to have a gentle, easygoing personality. Fudd weighs 24.5 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Fudd will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Let's talk about this sad story right here! This guy, rocky, has grown up, literally in the shelter. One of the volunteers who walks the dogs goes there every day and takes them for a long walk! She cries every time she thinks about how long he's been there, especially because he is so perfect, he's great with kids! He's great with other dogs. He loves to walk he's kennel trained he's happy all the time his tail never stops wagging it just goes to show you what a special boy he is having been at the Shelter for so long and he still has a beautiful disposition , we would love to get this guy his family.
