Story
Nola is a 6 year old Beagle mix. While we are not sure how she would do with cats, we do know she can be choosey with her dog friends. So, if you have another dog at home please bring them in for a meet and greet. Nola is not a fan of children and does not have the patience for them. She also has shown some resource guarding when around children. She does know basic commands and was house broken when she came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. Nola likes to lounge around and lay in the sun. If you would like to meet her please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all our other adoptable pets.

Story
January 2024: Estee is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted. Because of her background she needs a quiet home with secure fencing. She would make a excellent pet for older person or couple. She is now around 4 years old and 20 lbs. Soft ears and soft eyes! She still has some accidents in her crate if left over 6 hours. She will use pads and goes outside easily. She prefers a few zoomies in the yard and then a nice dog bed. Does great with the other dogs, cats unknown. Not a mean bone in her body. February 2023: She is doing great, will make a fine family member for a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard. She is still a flight risk so no small children with the house doors. She must have a secure fence. May 2022: Estee was pulled from Bracken County. She was found as a stray and was likely an unsocialized puppy living away from people. For the first two months she was terrified to come in from outside (carried for 2 months) and a month after that to go out on her own. She is still a little leery of doorways. Estee is 2 years old and 20 lbs. She is the sweetest pup, who is doing great going outside for potty. she does us her crate and will, potty in it sometimes. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
I’ve had Mac for many years, but his shedding and dander have gotten worse with age and with my wife and son being severe asthmatics it just isn’t responsible to keep him. Mac is a very sweet dog, still active in his old age and wonderful with children. He needs a yard or space to roam as he loves being outside. He should be crated when left alone (he’s trained but he doesn’t like it and will whine at first). He’s been remarkably healthy for his age and I hate to let him go late in life my human family has to come first.

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Spot - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hi ya world, let me introduce myself. My name is Spot and I've got lots of those but just one brown one beside my left eye!! I'm a goofball of a youngster who has never met a stranger but is looking for the opportunity to find my bestie. I'm about 8 months, born in December of 2023. I wants to find a loving forever home where I can have more time with my humans or even a doggy sibling. A home where my people are around more, maybe working from home, would be ideal. I'm not fond of being by myself for too long! I'm good with kids and other dogs but other animals are unknown. I knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, drop it, and I stops and waits to hear the keyword “cross” before crossing the street when on a loose leash walk. And my walks are the highlight of my day! I'm pretty chill when hanging out with my person but am playful when you're ready. I love my toys, napping close by you and romping around with my doggie friends at the park. I come in at around 48lbs, perfection for those adventures we can go on...together!! Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

Story
Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. I can't wait to meet you and start this exciting new chapter together! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
