Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm Shaggy Rogers and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am the smallest in my bunch with my short stubby legs but I'm a stocky fella. I am a tad shy but when I get to know you, I would love to cuddle on your lap. I am very low maintenance and wouldn’t mind laying on the couch all day and watching TV. Oh, and if you have treats, I love you already! My foster mom calls me a “roly poly” because I like treats just a little too much! If you are looking for a little bundle of joy, who just wants to hang out all day, then look no further because we would be a perfect match! I'm about 4 months old and come in at around 11lbs. I should be a great size that should be under 25lb when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm gonna be that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am a loving lil fella that loves his people both tall and small but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I has got a beautiful coat and such an expressive face you'll have a hard time telling me 'no' even when getting into puppy shenanigans!! I has got a sweet nature that does love to run around and play with all the other foster pups here. I do really well playing with the other pups but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, but at my young age and with proper introductions I should be fine with them too! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. She can climb chain linked fences so much be in a secure yard with a privacy fence or an apartment. Mrs. Puff has tested positive for heart-worms so will go home with the medications needed to slow treat it. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. Dobby is an almost 2 year-old AKC registered black and tan beagle, he’s very sweet and loves to cuddle. Our family went through a new job process that doesn’t leave us with a lot of time to spend with this little one that just wants to be loved. Great with other dogs and kids. Still need some work with house-training however he is crate trained. Loves food and walks. Would beneficiate from an active family environment to release energy. Up to date on vaccinations and neutered. He will come with food bowl, a small bag of food, his crate, collar, harness and leash.

SAAP Nation, who remembers this picture of this precious mama with her 2 little adorable puppies??? Well, she is FINALLY ready to be the star and find a forever home of her own!!   Introducing PRIMROSE!!!   As sweet and beautiful as the name implies, Primrose will instantly steal your heart!    Primrose and her puppies were found as strays about a month ago. Primrose protected those babies and made sure they were fed, even as strays, like any good mama would do, even if that meant she was exhausted and starving! She is an AMAZING mama!!!!   Primrose and her babies were supposed to be spayed the very next week and be ready for adoption right after. But sadly, believe it or not, with puppies that were only 6.5 weeks old, she was already in heat AGAIN and couldn’t be spayed!   Her angelic pups, Poppy and Posie, were quickly adopted, leaving her in her foster home to finally take care of herself, put on weight, and really thrive!!!!    Finally, almost a month later, she was ok’d to be spayed and is ready for adoption! Let me tell you SAAPers, she is the sweetest!!!   Primrose is an approximately 5 year old, 25lbs, beagle. She is a typical beagle in that she’s great with kids and other dogs. She’s crate trained, 95% potty trained, and loves to lay on the perch of your couch. She hasn’t dug outside or chewed on anything but dog toys or bones here, making her the perfect foster!    Look at those eyes!!! She was begging with them  to be saved, and she has been.
