Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Merlin! If your ideal dog is the stay at home, watch TV, and relax all day kind of dog, Merlin is your man! At around 45 lbs and 5 years old this beagle mix fella is the most handsome introvert, and while he doesn't enjoy going out in public to show off his good looks he's happy to share all the love and affection with the people he trusts in the safety of his home. Merlin would excel in a home with structure and routine without a lot of excitement. He does extremely well with cats and other dogs, and has learned alot about "how to dog" from his canine friends in his foster home. Merlin has some mild vision impairment which is more apparent at night, but he has no issues navigating to his comfort places, the outdoors, or finding his people. In true introvert style Merlin takes a little longer to adapt to change, but with patience and understanding he will make a wonderful companion to the right family. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Come meet me and LOTS of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Beach Paw-ty! Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Sally! Sally is a 2-month-ol Beagle mix puppy who is the sweetest girl and loves to give love. This little lady is a perfect mix of independence, sass, and sweetness! Sally is a smart cookie who loves to explore the world on her own terms, but she’s never too far behind—literally. She’ll follow you from room to room like your tiniest, cutest shadow. Her superpowers include being a fast learner, getting along great with her siblings, and loving to cuddle. In terms of house training, Sally uses pee pads since she still needs some vaccines to able to go outside, but we are optimistic that with time and patience, she will figure it out! She loves to please and she loves to be rewarded for a good job! If you're looking for a confident, clever pup who’ll keep you smiling and snuggling, Sally is ready to make your home her forever adventure! Sally is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person.
