ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! Meet PATSY PUGGLE, a sweet, gentle timid girl looking for a home. Patsy Puggle has been a months-long project for her foster mom. She came to the rescue a terrified mess. She was a stray dog who gave birth to puppies. She had to be trapped in order to be captured along with her pups. We were told that a rescue agreed to take the puppies, but wouldn't take mama because she was so terrified. It's been a journey getting Patsy ready for a home, but she's finally ready! Patsy Puggle is a puggle (pug/beagle)-type mixed breed girl, 5ish years old and fully grown at 25 pounds. Patsy needs a quiet home with a patient adopter who will help build her confidence. Patsy Puggle needs a well-balanced dog sibling to help her navigate life. She adores her confident foster sister. She MUST have a fur sibling, no exceptions. Patsy Puggle needs a secure, physically fenced yard to keep her safe. Patsy Puggle is housebroken, crate trained and dog and cat friendly. She is not a suitable dog for a first-time pet parent. If you would like to meet Patsy Puggle, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 9:57 am

BUTCH is a sweet timid beagle boy looking for a home. He's a beautiful little guy who has clearly not had a great life so far. He needs a patient adopter who will show him how wonderful life is in a loving home. Butch is about 3 years old and fully grown at just 19 pounds. He needs a home with a calm, confident dog who will show him the ropes. Butch is not a fan of over-the-top dogs. He needs a secure physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Butch, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Butch at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. Story
PEPPERONI is a sweet gentleman. He's a beagle/basset hound-type mixed breed boy with a beautiful chocolate/red coat. Pepperoni landed in a rural shelter after being hit by a car. The poor guy had a broken front leg that required treatment which the shelter was unable to provide. Fortunately the break is not severe and he's currently wearing a cast to allow the leg to heal up properly. Pepperoni has a lovely disposition, he adores people and treats. Pepperoni can go to a furever home, but he will be a foster until the leg is completely healed. If you'd like to meet Pepperoni, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhousrescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pepperoni at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.  All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. Story
Cheers to BOURBON, a stunning young red beagle looking for a home. He's about 2 years old and fully grown at 30 pounds. Bourbon is a happy-go-lucky playful beagle who loves everyone he meets. He's a typical beagle, great with other dogs. Bourbon loves to play, loves to zoom around in the yard and will do anything for a yummy treat. Bourbon needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. He'd love a home with a doggy playmate. Bourbon is great with other dogs but he's a little too interested in kitties. If you would like to meet Bourbon, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with Bourbon or you can meet him at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
