Story
Murphy is a 6 year old beagle! We found a breeder off the AKC website and brought him home at 12 weeks. He loves a good walk, but other than that he really enjoys to snuggle. He is a good guard dog and loves to watch out the windows. He has a great nose and enjoys having a yard where he can sniff out the local wildlife. Murphy would do best in a home with no young kids or other pets - he wants to be someone’s best friend. Murphy does have food aggression which is why he should be the only pet in the home. Murphy needs a new home because we have a 10 month old baby who he does not like living with.

Story
If Macy were a person, she’d be the kind of lady who orders the early bird special, flirts with the waiters, and smokes a Newport 100 while giving you life advice. But since she’s an 8-year-old Beagle, she’ll settle for belly rubs, treats, and someone to listen to all her opinions. (And trust us, she has a LOT of opinions.)Macy is chatty, sassy, and 100% housebroken (because a lady never has accidents inside). She’s lived with other dogs and cats before, and she can do well with them—as long as her new family understands that food and toys are her personal treasures and should be managed accordingly. Separate meal times and respecting her space are a must.Because Macy knows what she likes (and what she doesn’t), she needs an adult-only home where her boundaries will be respected. She’s got a heart of gold, but she’s not afraid to stand her ground if someone crosses the line. And did we mention she’s basically a genius? Macy knows: • Sit • Stay • Down • Leave it • Come • Paw • Hi-5Macy is looking for a home where she can truly shine. She thrives with someone who appreciates her independent spirit, gives her space when she needs it, and will adore her for the quirky, brilliant girl she is. If you’re looking for a fiercely loyal, endlessly entertaining companion, Macy just might be your girl!

Story
We got Chloe when she was a puppy. She is now 5yrs old. Although she has been brought up with other dogs and cats she has turned and does NOT do well with them out of the blue. She's a snuggler cuddle dog. She enjoys laying with you on a comfy couch. She does not like commotion. She smiles with teeth when she's happy. Does well on leash does go potty outside but has occasionally accidents inside. Our home is not right for her with the other pets and commotion.

Story
Winnie is the sweetest dog. She loves people! She loves to lay right next to you. Winnie needs a fenced yard. She likes to play outside, but will run if she’s not on a leash or in a fenced yard. Winnie is potty trained, but does have an occasional accident when she’s left alone. She is a gentle family pet! Wish we could keep her!! She is our daughter’s dog and she is unable to take her when she moves out. She will make her new family very happy!

Story
January 2024: Estee is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted. Because of her background she needs a quiet home with secure fencing. She would make a excellent pet for older person or couple. She is now around 4 years old and 20 lbs. Soft ears and soft eyes! She still has some accidents in her crate if left over 6 hours. She will use pads and goes outside easily. She prefers a few zoomies in the yard and then a nice dog bed. Does great with the other dogs, cats unknown. Not a mean bone in her body. February 2023: She is doing great, will make a fine family member for a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard. She is still a flight risk so no small children with the house doors. She must have a secure fence. May 2022: Estee was pulled from Bracken County. She was found as a stray and was likely an unsocialized puppy living away from people. For the first two months she was terrified to come in from outside (carried for 2 months) and a month after that to go out on her own. She is still a little leery of doorways. Estee is 2 years old and 20 lbs. She is the sweetest pup, who is doing great going outside for potty. she does us her crate and will, potty in it sometimes. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! Meet PATSY PUGGLE, a sweet, gentle timid girl looking for a home. Patsy Puggle has been a months-long project for her foster mom. She came to the rescue a terrified mess. She was a stray dog who gave birth to puppies. She had to be trapped in order to be captured along with her pups. We were told that a rescue agreed to take the puppies, but wouldn't take mama because she was so terrified. It's been a journey getting Patsy ready for a home, but she's finally ready! Patsy Puggle is a puggle (pug/beagle)-type mixed breed girl, 5ish years old and fully grown at 25 pounds. Patsy needs a quiet home with a patient adopter who will help build her confidence. Patsy Puggle needs a well-balanced dog sibling to help her navigate life. She adores her confident foster sister. She MUST have a fur sibling, no exceptions. Patsy Puggle needs a secure, physically fenced yard to keep her safe. Patsy Puggle is housebroken, crate trained and dog and cat friendly. She is not a suitable dog for a first-time pet parent. If you would like to meet Patsy Puggle, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 21, 2024, 9:50 am

Story
"Someone pour me up a double shot of WHISKEY..." Darling WHISKEY will warm your heart better than a double shot of Shaboozey's favorite drink. Whiskey is a beautiful 2-3 year old 21 pound love sponge of a beagle. Per a DNA test Whiskey has a little bit of cocker spaniel in him as well!  Whiskey is simply one of the most delightful dogs you'll ever want to meet. He's the perfect beagle bro, interacting beautifully with other dogs. His happy place is hanging out with his pack -- including dogs, cats and people! Whiskey loves to play and settles down nicely for a good cuddle when playtime is over. He can be a bit timid in new situations and when meeting new people, but having another dog buddy by his side really helps. Whiskey is housebroken and crate trained. He needs a home with another friendly dog and a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you would like to meet Whiskey, please fill out a dog adoption application. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Whiskey at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
