Children have been a stressor for me in the past, so a home without children would be best for me. I am house trained and crate trained too. My favorite treats are freeze dried tripe from that Hollywood Feed Store and I have a Moose stuffed toy I enjoy. In my daily life, I like to lounge on the couch, explore the yard and take walks. I can be an escape artist, so supervised playtime in the yard is a good idea. My foster mom says I am pretty quiet for a beagle. I am gentle and polite with all my doggy friends and I really love to cuddle with my humans. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! We rescued Desi around 5 years ago and we thought she was an elderly dog. As it turns out she had been neglected and likely abused. After a few months she blossomed and turned into a happy puppy. We found out at the time she was likely around 2 years old when we adopted her. She's a great dog, crate trained and listens well. She sits, shakes, and her primary goal is just to be a "good dog". Unfortunately, my wife and I have changed careers and both have a very busy schedule while both working full time. So, we are concerned she is not getting the attention and interactions she deserves. She really is a dog that loves being around people and she deserves a home that can give her that!

Stink was my uncle’s dog that we got after he passed. Stink is a very sweet dog, and is great with kids, but he does not get along with our cat. He is also used to having a doggie door, which is not possible for us to have. As a result, he does have accidents in the house. Free access to outside would be great. If you let him, he will cuddle with you all day!

He is DASH's prison training program where he is learning basic commands.  It can take Oliver a little while to warm up, but once he does he is so loving and affectionate. We are confident that with the right person and our training program, he will gain confidence and a trust for people. His handler says that he loves to run and play with other dogs and would do great with a yard. Online Adoption Application › WHERE ARE OUR WORK FROM HOME FRIENDS??  Butters has been dubbed a great dog with very good manners and would love to share your home office work space!  His trainer says he is gentle with puppies and small dogs.  At such a young age, this beagle mix has learned to let his person know when he needs to go potty. He loves to play with K9 friends, shares his toys and does NOT get grumpy about sharing his food. He doesn't mind a good rub-a-dub-dub in the tub as long as it means he gets to cuddle on the couch with you. Butters is a good mix of affectionate and energetic. He does well in crowds and hasn't met a stranger he didn't like. Butters is in the DASH Training Program and is learning basic commands but is picking them up really quickly.  However, he has been known to have a "puppy" attention span at times. He can be vocal in the crate and is still working on leash training. He loves a good conversation with other dogs, especially if they are barking at a distance but will stop upon command. He is social and has proven to do well in crowds. His trainer says, "Butters likes to play fetch, gets excited when playing, is a very friendly pup. He has a gentle nature to his little personality".  He has not been tested with children or cats so a proper introduction is in order.
