Graham is a senior Beagle mix. He is around 10 yrs old based on the information that was provided to us. He is a sweet, playful dog and is very energetic for his age. He is not good with cats so needs to live in a cat free zone. He is fine with some dogs but should meet them prior to adoption being approved and finalized. Jeff is a handsome old man trapped in a beagle's body, and honestly, he’s thriving. At 10 years young, this guy is all for an outdoor play session... after he's had his nap. This man tends to keep his opinions to himself believe it or not! While he can be a drama king, this man thrives mainly on naps and snacks by the fire with the occasional yap session. He semi-pulls on leash- not enough to call it a workout, but just enough to remind you he’s in charge. But don’t let the dramatics fool you! Jeff has two speeds: 1) Outdoor Drama King, and 2) Full-On Couch Pancake. Inside the house, he transforms into a lazy loaf of dog bread who will unapologetically hog the couch and side-eye you for trying to sit in “his spot.” He’s still got puppy energy, just compressed into short, intense bursts followed by 3-hour naps and deep existential sighs. Want to go for an adventure? He’s in. Want to stay home and pretend to be furniture? Even better. Jeff loves other dogs and would be totally down to have a dog sibling to yell at the mailman with. Cats, however, are where he draws the line. They're sneaky, they're suspicious, and Jeff simply cannot work under those conditions. He’s fully neutered, fully hilarious, and fully ready for adoption. If you’re into dogs that act like retired sitcom characters and steal your seat like it’s their full-time job, then Jeff is your guy!

Hes doing a fantastic job picking it up thanks to his foster familys consistent training even the resident dogs know the signs to help include Howie in the fun!Howie is a cuddle champion. UPDATE Sissy as shown in the newest picture priviously an only dog shows that she has. decided to smuggle with another furry friend, who knew? a very peasant surprise indeed. She proves that seniors can do new things. UPDATE 9/4/24 Sissy has had a chiropractor adjustment. She is warming up to people. Knowing that she was raised by a lady in an apartment lets us know how comfortable she would be in a similar situation. She also "Baroo"'s when she wants to go outside to potty. Her weight looks good on her at 27#'s now. One other dog for a companion would be ideal and multiple dogs may overwhelm her as something she isn't used to during her 16 yrs. Time spent acclimating her to more dogs may do her good to learn. Sissy can be left alone for a period of time, would curl up and sleep Im sure. Sissy, 16 yrs old in March 2024, was taken in from a one time owner who is currently in a Nursing Home. This wonderful lady spent some time overweight but is now at a prime 28#'s. She is spayed, agile with a very slight limp, takes treats gently, has been in mulitple dog homes for visits, on thyroid medication controlled and maintained. She lived in a first floor apartment but has shown she can do steps. Sissy can potty on leash or in a fenced in area. She isn't a typical lap dog but friendly loves to be petted on the head. As with all dogs Sissy learned silly habits and if you scratch her back end she thinks shes going outside for a walk. She keeps a subtle awareness of her surroundings.
